The Corvette C8 picture thread....

I'm thinking we havent seen real rear wing yet. This shot looks like the center actually almost stows. I would bet its an active rear wing with center section flatter (washed in) than outboard ala C7 ZR1. ZTK. Look at the Leading Edge of the center section in this shot

I agree. This is also why I have to believe there is still some padding on the car giving it those sharp lines. If not, it seems kind of a design mess to me.

The Huracan is a classic example of smooth curves and sharp lines. IMO the combination looks great...

I really feel like this is a whole new look at the shape with the least padding yet. I gotta say, it's looking pretty sexy IMO.

that front splitter scraped the ground getting out of that garage,... and that was a very slight incline drive way.! No use of a front lift there...yet.

This is an even better shot of the rear wing Leading Edge. If you dismiss all the camo roll along the Trailing Edge, it looks like the center panel of the rear wing is almost flat, almost stowed, washed in. The outer panels are more washed out - as they should be - ala C7 ZR1 ZTK (Big Wing). I bet the rear wing is active aero and will reposition higher (and maybe lower) and change angle of attack. I also see the side scoop camo as their most serious remaining cover up...I think before its over the big side scoop will be very reminiscent of the C1 "Coves" !!!

Well, they did pick New York City to finally and publicly admit there was a C8 and that it is mid-engine. Fitting given that the original 53 debuted in New York as well. Driving thru Times Square in a camo’d Corvette is sure to get loads of clicks and free press. Especially w Barra in the passenger seat. I like the fact that Mary Barra participated in that happening. Indicates her support for the program.
