Default Note to Chevrolet

Hey Chevy, in this ludicrously long drawn out approach to the C8 just remember, we ain't getting any younger here.

It's literally only 3 more months...

We've already waited like 4 years

Long? The C7 will only have 6 model years and the official clock to C8’s just started today. It’s not GM’s fault we’ve seen so much of the development since the first Holden Ute in Jan 2015.

People die off, and other people are born. Funny how that works.

When you're old 3 months can feel like 3 Years.

Meh? One more quarterly precription refill and we'll be there.

I think the "majority" of Corvette buyers may not have been following that long approach at all.

C1=1953-1962 10 years
C2=1963-1967 5 years
C3=1968-1982 15 years
C4=1984-1996 13 years
C5=1997-2004 8 years
C6=2005-2013 9 years
C7=2014-2019 6 years

There was only one generational run shorter than the C7 and two that were twice as long. I wouldn't call the most revolutionary change in Corvette history long and drawn out.

Maybe that's why they're not responding to all the old guys crying about losing the FE and manual: they know they'll all be dead by the time its out
