Two C8 'New Things' Planned for the Michelin NCM Bash Next Week
If you've not yet made plans to attend next week's Michelin NCM Bash, the announcement of the 8th generation Corvette might help you change your mind! "We have some exciting news about the next generation Corvette to share and are bringing a few new things," shared Megan Marquis, Chevrolet Corvette Marketing & Advertising. A camo wrapped Corvette has already been spotted at a gas station near the Museum, and enthusiasts have expressed their hope of witnessing one driving by the event.
The annual GM presentation will take place on Friday from 9-10:30am CT, and again Saturday at 8:45am. One of each model of 2019 Corvette, including each of the new Drivers' Edition will be on display, too.
While pre-registration has ended, on-site registration will be available for $20 for Lifetime Members, $25 for Members, and $35 for non-members. Registration covers all three days and includes Museum admission

I enjoy visiting the museum and the factory, but I'm not going to spend three days going to Bowling Green and hundreds of dollars($400) just to hear two announcements that will be all over the web within minutes.
Especially since I can't visit the plant. The museum displays change very little.

What ever it is....I'll know about it just minutes after it is announced while sitting here in my office in Missouri.

Maybe I'll go back when the mid engine is in full production.

[QUOTE=Dominic Sorresso;1599252626]How about they drive a camo’d C8 on the NCM rack?[/QUOTE
IMO this is a desperate effort by GM to save the Bash as an event. Maybe the car schedule slipped, maybe GM "forgot" the Bash was where the word was spoken from the "mountain top" or something, but with the way things are going, it's difficult for Bash regulars to justify the $s and time for essentially nothing more than, "GM does not speak about future products." A drive by isn't going to pull in the people. IMO

I think we'll learn where the July 18 reveal will take place and we'll officially see the C8 logo for the first time. And I also think we'll see a C8 camo car drive-by. Also, the graphic that the NCM used to headline the teaser has April 26, which is Friday of the event, so I think we'll find out on Friday.

"I'm going to **** and moan about not finding out anything about a car that I've no intention of buying because it has the engine in the wrong place, won't fit my golf clubs, and doesn't have round tail lights!"

Says ended, not sold out. NCM website says it closed on the 2nd, and it looks like that's a scheduled end, sot a sold out end. Early registration for most events stops a few weeks before the vent, have to have time to mail tickets...
