(As beauty is in the eye of the beholder, I feel the fairings depicted in the C8 renderings are absolutely beautiful!).

Funny because I think convertibles without the buttresses are absolutely hideous. Always looks like a Barbie car to me. The buttresses make all the difference and look much better.

Frunk storage in a ME C8 Convertible?
I have a 2014 Z51 7 speed convertible that has just enough room in the trunk to hold my golf clubs. Hoping that the C8 convertible has enough room for a set of clubs as well.

I want a true sport car not one that has to double as a SUV.
Golf clubs should be the last thing GM needs to focus on if the Corvette is going to look and perform like true world class sports cars we see from the likes of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maclaren.
Get a SUV to take to the golf course.

What can I say, I like fast cars and golf (shooting too). The C7 has been a good duo purpose car for me, I guess I'll just drive my Lexus LC500 or Jeep Grand Cherokee to the course instead. Decisions/decisions???

No other world class sports car manufacturer remotely consider holding golf clubs as essential to a well.designed sports car.

I want a sports car to do sports car things, not SUV things.

Sports cars that cannot do daily life will never enjoy the overall success that the Corvette has had over the past 66 years.

One thing that has made the Corvette so successful is that it can be used as a daily driver. It has done very well in that role. A lot of buyers cannot afford a Corvette as a toy, it must be useable in daily life. That ability includes being able to go to the grocery store, the hardware store, or wherever you need to pick something up. Or to take your golf clubs to the course for a round.

Exactly, I drive my C7 everywhere because I enjoy driving it. If you have limited storage etc, it is going to limit its sales and fun quotient. If all you are interested in is taking your car to the track, then I agree it should be totally focused on performance. The true be told, I bet only about 1% of the owners regularly track their cars.

Actually, many Vette buyers do NOT use them solely as toys. Like me, they use them daily. Cut out that uniquely Vette flexibility, well, they’ll look elsewhere. That’s why my sports car is a Vette and will never be an Alfa, Lotus, 718 or Miata...any of which would be fun to own for a few years but would too greatly restrict how I use my sports car.
