C8 is homely
Just my opinion. Sorry if I offended. Don’t hate me for it. I hope that the body will be very different from the camouflaged car that we’ve seen. Some other the forum members here have drawn much better looking cars.
C’mon Chevy, gimme something beautiful!!

You are hoping the final product looks different from the highly camoed test car with foam padding inserts, possible fake panels, and intentionally diverting camo patterns?

LOL, I am! Someone said the same thing to me the other day. Seems like lots of peeps think it's the final product wrapped and that's it! no way!

Haha, exactly. I personally think it will look awesome. I still think the C7 looks really good too. GM won't screw up the exterior styling of the ME C8 I see some similarities to the current gen NSX.

I really think the Corvette look peaked at the C6. Well, of course the C2s were awesome, but that was long ago.
I could live with the C7 design, and it looks like the C8 will be a derivative of the C7 design, which is only natural. Personally, I wish it looked more like the C6. Or the C2, of course. Maybe the next generation...

If the C8 has round tail lights the C6 guys will lose their minds

I suppose everyone has an opinion. I’ll leave it at that.

I don't think it's ugly, but it's very generic. I don't see any new ideas. Could have been released 5 or 10 years ago.

The tail lights are similar to the C7, but less angular. We've seen them on the C8R testing.

Maybe if the back end doesn’t end up looking like a Camaro knock off then it would have a more unique/less homely feel.
But this car is being Chevy branded and will take cues from the other cars and will therefore be generic. I don’t know why Corvette can’t let their design team loose. If they just used the back end of the aria it would be beautiful.
