Seems like the progression is:

Someone says some random **** on this forum, or that other forum we're not allowed to talk about.
CorvetteBlogger picks it up
Motor1 grabs it
The rest of the blogosphere take a shot (Jalopnik, AutoBlog, etc)
A week or two later a half dozen YouTube idiots pick it up as "LEAKED C8 INFO!!!11eleventy"

Stop trying to troll us. This guy is pulling stuff from his butt. He has NO IDEA what pricing wlll be. Of the stuff that is accurate, it's all been reported here first. He's not a credible source and for you to post this crap up here shows you haven't been paying attention yourself.

What is the BS internet rumor in the video about the chassis is too weak. Why would GM leak this? Makes me NOT want to buy one.

"Gee our car is so powerful it flexes the chassis!"

"No, your design is so bad the chassis flexes!"

The issue with the chassis was fixed and corrected. But initally they did have issues with the chassis flexing on the high HP versions and it did crack and shatter the rear window.

Do you have proof of any of that?

Thanks on the correction. 460HP is accurate.

Go online and research a bit. Its all over the place.
But of course GM will keep it quite.
The same way they always do. Even when the car broke down at the gas station and wouldnt start. The electrical issues. They covered the car up and towed it away.

GM is doing the best to minimize bad publicity.

People at "the plant" don't set or even know pricing info. GM corporate sets that, and they don't release it until they're ready to start taking orders for the car.

If it's not your YouTube channel, then I'm sorry I went off on you. But I'm not alone in being tired of people trying to jumpstart their YouTube fame by spamming the board with their regurgitated, inaccurate, garbage info.

Seems to me the same line you are spewing was used against another poster on this forum and his comments have turned out to be very accurate.

Just because GM didn't clear anything with you doesn't mean that others don't know about it.

So just "rumors" of problems, which may or may not have even happened.

LOL, they reported RUMORS. So are all of the others "all over the internet".

Look at the first word on the MT article.... "Supposedly". That means its not a fact, it is a rumor.

Dont be so naive. Why do you think the C8 has had so many delays? Why hasnt it been revealed yet?

Of course GM wont comment on any of these rumors and allegations. Its in their interest to look as amazing as possible.

Remember the C7 Z06 overheating issues and how that blew up the internet.
