Dreaming of a C8 like this.......

Chevy doesn’t have to copy anyone to build a spectacular car.

Stop kidding yourselves. Throw corvette badges on it, lower the price by 80%, then tell us all the things you hate about the styling.
Not a huge fan of this new Ferrari, sure it will grow on me. They usually do.

GM is way to boring, and old to make a car look 1/10th as good as that.
GM really needs a no holds barred Corvette called the "**** off old People".
No sound deadening, no cup holders, no golf bag storage and too low and tight for those same people.

Have patience for another 5 weeks and let's see what the general has to offer. He can be a master of deception.

Not to many 30 something have between 100k and 350k to spend on what is basically a toy for most of us.
I do agree with screw the golf bags but if I want a pure bread race car there are many options.
Most all these type vehicles are nothing more than a weekend toy.
I can tell you none of my friends nor myself take our Ferrari to the track.
Regardless of how much disposable cash many guys have they don't want to wrap there 350k Ferrari into tire wall.

I found it funny how whenever the “Ferrari vs Corvette looks” argument comes up, everyone immediately throws up the price defense...
like somehow hiring automotive designers with more style and taste to design the body panels makes the car cost 600% more
it doesn’t look better because it costs more, it looks better because the designers are more artistic

To each their own of course, but if i was going to buy a Ferrari it would either be an F12, F12-TDF, or the 812 Superfast

The sports car grave yard is FULL of what YOU just asked for. It didn't work then, it most definitely won't work now.
But...since you're a fan.....which one do you own (and we'll keep to modern cars to make it easy)?
Viper?
Lotus Elise/Exige?
Alfa Romeo 4C?
ETC.....

When I see pic's of this Italian,I just about wet myself.........
HST, the General started with a clean sheet of paper, so what could be was endless. The pic's I'm seeing, either in camo (basic shape), or what CF render artist Chaz is showing me is just not doing it for me. Could it be that the whole reason we're not seeing any uncovered spy shots is because _____________ (you fill in the blank)?
Look at this:
Whadya' think .....

Lotus tried that. It's called the Elise. It didn't sell.

You are correct sir. This the new Ferrari halo car. Unless you're Saudi royalty, fuggedaboutit!
C8 will compete with the 488 and the latest flavor of 911. Of course, the press will assert that's it less refined yadayadayada...

The F8 is beautiful, but I am not digging this Ferrari at all. Not outright ugly, except the front end, which is outright ugly. And it looks like they ripped the Camaro tail lights.

I'd love to see something like that out of the Corvette team, I bet they could build something spectacular. But they aren't into the 1,500-2,500 max cars per year business. You take away the everyday usability and practicality it dies.
