2021 Ferrari SF90-Stradale vs 202X Corvette Zora/ZR1

The Ferrari is $2million not $500k. No comparison, vetted will never be ferraris, sorry. It's ok though. It's just the way it is and always has been.
Those Camaro tail lights on the Ferrari look kick ***.

So, that's how a 'base' ZR1 will cost $169,900! Completely optioned out - $200K. I think that is very reasonable for a 1,000hp AWD hybrid Vette. If GM keeps the weight under 3,600 lbs I'm all ears!

And just like it has been since 1957, the vast majority of new Corvette purchases will not be the super duper mega high performance, high priced version.

My comment comes out of frustration, not boredom. Ya'll need to stop with these useless threads. How about I start a new thread everyday for the next 6-7 weeks while we wait for real info just to clutter up the forum...like this one does. See the frustration...that's not boredom.

Now, back to the topic...the point of my post is that Corvette has come a long way and is actually competing in various ways with some of the world's best production sports cars. I don't expect that to end anytime soon either, but for Corvette to continue to push towards being the best performance value in the world.

Garret, the entire C8 section is filled with useless threads on the upcoming mid engine. If all these "useless" threads were actually deleted, the C8 Section might only have about 10-12 threads in it total.
If you don't like these threads, simply don't open them. But to complain about them is a different story. Everyone is excited about this new car. I'm sure the C7 General section looked this exact same way before the reveal of the Stingray.

The 2021 SF90 Stradale
- V8 Engine, 3990 cc, 780 cv (769 hp) max power at 7500 rpm via an "internal combustion engine integrated with three electric motors, two of which are independent and located on the front axle, with the third at the rear between the engine and the gearbox" with total powertrain output of 986 hp.
- All wheel drive
- 8 speed, dual clutch gearbox
- Estimated MSRP around $500,000 USD
- "Eyes on the Road, Hands on the Wheel - The Head Up Display is another part of the innovative HMI (Human Machine Interface) and allows various data to be projected onto the windshield within the driver's field of vision so that their attention is not distracted from driving." (Corvette wishes to welcome Ferrari to the 90's!)
- "The tail lights have also evolved quite radically from Ferrari’s iconic round shape. The eye-catching, more horizontal luminous rings create a more horizontal perception of the tail lights which in turn visually lowers the height of the tail." (Ferrari wishes to thank Camaro for the inspiration behind this design.)

The 202X ZR1/Zora
- Total powertrain output rumored at 1,000 hp via similar hybrid design
- Potential all wheel drive
- Likely dual clutch gearbox
- Estimated MSRP under $200,000 (as low as $169,000 even?)
- Head Up Display? Definitely a good chance that this isn't going away any time soon.
- Camaro tailights? Nah, but since Chevrolet shares similar design cues across their vehicle platforms, there will always be some who say the Corvette has Camaro taillights.
It's exciting to think about what the Corvette Team has planned over the coming years!

As far as them being on the same page as a Corvette, the Corvette Team thinks they do...

BTW Steven, are you going to use wax or sealant or get Ceramic coating on your C8. Man, I just CANNOT decide....
And: Are you going to get paint protection film on yours?
Which brand?
Are you going to wrap the entire car?
I can't decide.
And: Are you going to get Z51 or base?
I can't decide.
ETC....
There you go, OP. NOW that's some REALLY boring and/or frustrating stuff for you.

You're comparing a production car to a camouflaged car....
And BTW, jump on to FerrariChat and see what FERRAI OWNERS think of the SF90 (especially the rear deck/taillights/gun slit back light/engine cover)….HINT: it's not positive. HINT#2: Camaro taillights reared their ugly head

I agree. No car manufacturer in my opinion remotely approaches the sheer beauty of a 458/488 Ferrari. Their may be a line or two on the C8 that looks Ferrari like....but it’s my inclination to believe it will end there.

My reaction isn't positive either (and I'm a Ferrari Lover going way back).
Fortunately, there is time for Maranello to change it before production starts.

Jeez Tool, what are you, a DOPE? Everyone knows it's Lloyds. They drop interior sound level by 3db.. Get with it, for goodness sakes.
BTW, since Lloyds mats are heavier than the stock GM mats, they lower the center of gravity by .00000004% which makes for better handling.
