I believe hood vents are going to make or break this car's looks. I think vents will make it look great and lack of vents will hurt it a lot.

I think that would be the most desirable render so far. But the rear quarter & air intake is still a little awkward.

The C8 will be a looker, for sure. Having said that, I ll wait two MYs before I buy. It is GM, after all.

I don't think the side scoop will look anything like what were seeing, and maybe not at all,

My thought for the longest time has been the scoop if there is one
and no matter how large or small...will start after the door jamb..

I swore I would wait at least one model year to get any bugs worked out. But, this rendering has me ready to trade my 18 GS. Damn

The steep dive of the front hood looks really good. Problem, I don't see that angle on any of the camo or mules thus far. We'll see soon

I still believe that the side scoops are embellished on the mule and the renderings. They will be there, but much more sculpted into the car rather than protruding from it. I think the hood will look much better without a scoop.

Nope, it just looks “off”. Not cohesive. A mixture of hard lines and soft curves that is jarring to me. I also hate the pointed beak.

Another thing, the top of the rear hips look flat. Even the camo car has a more rounded hump/curve over the top of the rear wheel. Some of the latest camo cars also indicate more hump/curve over the top of the front wheel as well, which looks good.

That looks good except for that funky looking thing on the 3rd quarter.

I'm betting the scoop is much further back with no 'triangle' or whatever on the door. I think we are called the 'scoop truthers' or something.

The scoop is fake.

I was going to wait to get a C7 but if the C8 looks close to this I am going to wait and get one.

I’m sure the real deal will look better, but the back half looks like a gen 1 NSX with exaggerated side scoops. This whole car looks like what I would expect from someone who put an aftermarket body kit on their car. It just doesn’t look OEM and cohesive to me.

I agree the hood needs some vents to break up the body lines a bit.

I hope this is close to what we will actually get vs the renders of the hood from Chaz with the pronounced body lines and no vent.

This looks to me like someone cut the front end off of a C7 and added a fake scoop on the side and spoiler on the back. Looks a total mess
