Ya got to look at the book about Mike Costin, "Flying on Four Wheels." He's got some of the most fun comments and explanations of space frames that I've ever read. Designed a couple of neat space frames himself

^ The Z06 will have the C8R scoop extending into the skirt. The standard car will have the scoop flow into the lower door line in the lower 1/3rd of the door.

From Shaka’s post #62 above, the top FVS render in the area I circled on the copy below looks spot on in how two lines flow on to the door from the front and rear fenders. A newer Camo seems to add support.

I think the actual visible outer panel of the scoop will be different and could be rounded or sharp angled depending on which Eye witness you ask !
This panel, since it seems to be a complete separate peace, will no doubt be customizable through after market parts
GM may also have several different options for dressing that area with trim options

Regarding side scoops and wings...has ANYONE stopped to consider the variances in mules is because we are looking at DIFFERENT C8 models?

Shaka is knowledgeable, colorful, and sarcastic. I find him very entertaining, especially now when we haven’t received any new C8 info in weeks.

This is the Mosler MT900. No longer in production but was powered by a Corvette V8, I think the 7lt version, of various outputs. .Note intake design. Car was featured in Dave McLellan's book, "Corvette from the Inside" in the chapter on the future of the Corvette.

Yep... and the actual C8 looks nothing like it other than being mid-engine.

AND this could also be the Cadillac in Chevrolet clothing.

I am wondering if the camo cars that look like they don't have the triangle extension on the door, just have that additional leading edge trim piece removed and then camo over it. The ones that everyone says don't have the triangle piece still have a camo build-up in that area.
