I agree. Rick, sorry you didn't get an invite - you seem like a decent chap.

But, continuing down this path is NOT a good look.

Perhaps focus instead on how much fun it'll be pocketing the $$ from selling MEs.

He's has it made! Not that he didn't work for it or put it together .

I'm Not saying he's not working hard or long hours but He doesn't have to go on the lot and shake hands!
Except to greet his internet buyers.
I'm sure the other sales folks wish they had his customer base.

Lot of negative replies to this thread.

Just shows what a mistake it was to double down on the stupidity of wining and complaining

The guy has a reputation of not returning phone calls but has time to make all these nonsense videos with no real content??? SMH

And don't feel too bad for him, he will make a lot of commissions on selling high priced C8's at full MSRP for a couple of years!

If at first you don't succeed, try, try again... and make a bigger fool of yourself the 2nd time.

Maybe bbb will start posting in this thread, and get it closed like the last one: A Real Conversation - Rick will NOT be at Reveal

Rick, its time to let it go man. You’re starting to sound like a used car salesman.

Rick did himself in with the "camo suit" at the bash, followed by his video vlog whining that NO ONE on Team Corvette acknowledged him or his clown suit.
He really needs to CHECK his EGO at the front door...starting TWO threads about a snub that is HIS fault makes him look childish and petty.
And the saddest part is that no one would have known he WASN'T INVITED had he not brought it up.

Rick,

I try very hard to be respectful in my interactions in my digital life and real life. It is easy to attack people behind the veil of a screen name on this forum or others, but I am a firm believer that "what goes around comes around".

I can't give you any advice with your business, I am not a customer of yours or your boss, but I am happy to provide you with an observation and an example for you to ponder:

When you post your vlog, you should be prepared for the negative outcomes that it may bring. Being a nice guy is not enough in the world of business, integrity, competency, and respectability are more important in the end. I think many have watched your vlogs because you come across as a nice guy, and we all wish you the best. After the feedback you received with the first post, I am unsure your motivation for posting it a second time...just by taking a straw pole, most of the feedback was not positive.

Not that it relates 100%...there was a TV show on AMC back in 2012 called "Small Town Security". It followed Breaking Bad, which had a huge following. The private security business that was profiled in this "Reality" show thought they were entertaining and tried very hard to "sell" their lives entertainment value. While many viewers enjoyed the show's entertainment value, the net effect on the business was they lost over 50% of their Clients, as they could not relate to the "Reality" the owners of the business were sharing with the world. In hindsight, I trust they might have passed on that opportunity if given a second chance.

I am unsure how many Forum members whom are your Customers are influenced by your recent vlog, and what effect it will have on your business of selling Corvettes...I can only offer this; it has insured I will no longer be supporting your "Youtube" business...and if that is the only thing that suffers...you will be OK in the end.

Respectfully,

Jeff

Not a good look man, and really doing nothing to change my already not great opinion of Chevy salespersons that in significant part cost GM my last two new car purchases.

No and to my knowledge never has. He has a lot of videos that make many of us Corvette owners shake our heads.
Kissing a Barbie doll, eating doo doo out of a diaper, fake camo ZR1s. Continued posting these things makes it difficult.

I made my post before reading this one. I bought my C7 from him and tried to buy another and on a whim emailed and called him twice on a C8. Never got a call back.

I felt worse then you, after owning 4 Corvettes and countless other GM vehicles over 50 years, I did not recieve a reveal ticket! I feel I am more deserving of it then you!
Stay tuned for my 20 minute whiny VLOG!

The optics here are bad to say the least. Think I’ll stick with my dealer.
