Eleven minutes to describe what every C7 owner already knows about their car. Everyone is a tuber these days and 99 percent of every video on the tube is proof positive that not everyone is born to be Bob Barker...... How do i get my click back. Perhaps a new and highly useful utube feature called the unwatch button rather than just a thumbs down. For every viewer that unwatches your video the producer of said video pay's utube $10 bucks.

Ill save everyone a bunch of time.
1. Need a front lift to avoid scraping (We already know this is coming)
2. Fix over heating issues the Z06 had
3. Fix the trunk release, I guess people are hitting it with their leg? (Never happened to me)
4. Custom mode because all we have are the options of weather, touring, eco, sport and track. (Each oif which can be customized? Read the manual)
5. Blindspot monitor (We also know this is coming already)
6. Add a tow hitch? lol
7. Automatic Wipers
8. Better PDR/cameras

The entire premise of the video is flawed...things that NEED to be fixed on a NEW car that is TOTALLY different from the old car. It amazes me that people watch this crap. I certainly did not.

I have automatic wipers in my S-600 and my GLS 450. I would like to be able to strangle whoever dreamed up this system. When driving in moderate rain, I want 1 wipe every 2-3 seconds, the slowest the system will do the wipers is a bit faster than 1 per second. S T U P I D. I, personally,would rather have a 3-position switch:: 1-> 1 wipe every 4 seconds; 2-> 1 wipe every 2 seconds; 3-> 1 wipe every second.

As to why not put in SRF to begin with:: spot on ! Although once you go SRF, you might as well go LMA.

cWelcome to the era of dumbass click bait videos. A tow hook, better cup holders - WTF. Dot 4 brake fluid - factory fill on my '19 Z, next... For the record, never had overheat problems with my M7 at track events here in Florida in April and May (pretty hot days). None of the folks that I know who have M7 's have ever had an overheat condition on the track. Some early autos were problematical, but the last few years, MOST of the auto on track overheat problems have been eliminated. Trunk release problem? I am 6'3 and never had accidental trunk release problems nor have I heard about anyone who has...next. Front clearance problems - had the same on my C5 and C6 Z's - you learn to deal with it - not a particularly big deal for this kind of car. Next... Yes PDR could be better quality, but is acceptable to me for what it is - not comparing it to having to watch GOT in 4k, geezus. Blind spot would be nice, but amazing how well we did without using the simple expediency of rotating the head and paying attention.

I could just as easily make up a C8 BS bitch list: (1) no manual transmission (2) horrible rearward visibility requiring over reliance on technology to provide any rearward view, (3) reduced storage, (4) inability to do any tuning to an ECM that is locked even more tightly than the C7 ZR1, which took over a year and lots of dough to even unlock, and will cost a mint to mod the ECM, (5) ets., etc., etc.

See how easy it is to generate worthless POS statements that I could transform into a worthless clickbait video.

So sad, too bad.

if you clicked the video, then youtube made money, and thus they are willing to give a cut of it to the video's channel owner.

if you wish to unwatch it, I can introduce all of you guys to people who are trying to invent time machines, you and they might all hit it off together.

if you think the video is poor quality, or poor content, instead of being jealous that all of these people who you think are horrible, are making money....

instead, the capitalistic thing to do is create better videos yourselves. Then you'll make money, and make the world a better place.

If you can't create better videos, then not only are you a complainer, you are also a hypocrite.

I would love if everyone here made a better video, and I genuinely mean that.

I don't know which is worse, bad videos, or people complaining that they took the time to watch a video when they already knew the 10 things. Did you actually think someone on youtube knew more about a vette than you did?

I have not watched the video. I know the things better than the youtube guy does I bet. I will not perform an action, and then complain it is someone else's fault I performed the action. I had my 10th birthday long ago.

Free agency, to not watch. If you watch, youtube made money, and so does the channel owner. Get over it.

You clicking the button, and lacking the self-control not to, is why these guys are making money... and more of them pop up daily. You, the button clicker are the reasons these guys do it. Have some responsibility for your actions.

1. Would be nice but I've managed without it so far. But if the C8 has it great.
2. Over heating issues - old news & overblown
3. My trunk release isn't an issue, works fine
4. Current car has plenty of customization already
5. My head still swivels just fine
6. It isn't a truck
7. My fingers/hands still work fine. I think I can reach 1" to 2" to turn the damn wipers on if needed. I don't drive it if it's raining anyway.
8. The PDR is only 720p but it's adequate for what it's made for. I'm sure the C8 PDR will have better resolution.
9. A couple of Dorman (part # 41000) cup holder inserts that cost $7.67/each on Amazon (yes, they fit a C7 just fine despite what Amazon says about them not fitting) fixed this issue for me & they took 2 seconds to install. They hold a 16oz. can of Monster Energy in place even if only using 1 insert in the bottom opening. It's even better now with 2 inserts, one in each opening (I don't use larger drink containers so YMMV).
10. If I need DOT 4 I can buy it myself.

Oh & I didn't watch the silly click bait video.

And you are making ASSumptions - and you know what they say about people who do that. I did not watch the video, I read the summary of the video's listed items that was posted previously on this thread.

I'm tired of hearing people bitch about the PDR. It's a performance data recorder. It's a not a damn GoPro. I'm sure the C8 will have an upgraded camera, but there was nothing wrong with the one in the C7 given its intended purpose.
