I just bought a 2019 Z06 M7 vert, so barring unexpected events, it will be a while before I consider buying a C8. Of course I'll be interested in seeing it, and following owner reviews, rants, and raves on this forum. If I do decide one is in my future, I will talk to Mike Furman about it if he hasn't retired by then.

No one in there right mind would buy this car in 2020. Your just asking for it. I will be entertained viewing the C8 forum listening to owners bitch about this falling off that going blank and how this or that rattles and squeaks, not to mention clueless dealerships trying to service them, always entertaining.

Now, back to the thread topic...I assume you voted that you aren't buying a 2020.

Just shows me how unreliable polls are.
With 103 votes cast, 22 are for buying from Criswell and 2 for buying from Bomnin.
Yet , last year, more people actually bought more cars from Bomnin(369 from their two stores in Miami) than from Criswell with 332 sales.
And then with those that say they are not buying a 2020 running between 25 to 30 percent, put this same poll in the C5 and C6 sections and I bet you would see a much higher percentage not buying.

I know my local dealer, Dale Jr., gets most of their Corvettes from other Hendrick stores because the head sales person told me

The poll works exactly as it was intended. It's a sampling of potential Corvette Forum 2020 Corvette buyers who have at least some interest in the next gen Corvette. That's all it's meant to be and gives people a variety of choices, including other dealerships and not buying a 2020. I listed the top 5 dealers in order of sales for 2018. Just because someone was a Top 5 Dealer in 2018 doesn't mean they are guaranteed a Top 5 finish this year or next.

Do you actually believe that Criswell will out sell Bomnin next year by 10 to 1?
If you believed your poll, then that is what is going to happen.....LOL

None. No money to buy or own a Corvette new or used.
If I did, I would wait several years for the wide body model like a GS or Z06. At this time, I like Rick Conti a lot.

Follow up to your second comment: I understand what you're saying, but I'm polling one segment of a much larger pool of buyers. Bomnin is the only Top 5 dealer from 2018 that is not a Corvette Forum Vendor, so why would anyone think they would have a lot of buy in from the members here in the first place. What I do believe is that Corvette Forum member purchases from Criswell could outnumber Corvette Forum member purchases from Bomnin by 10 to 1.

I 'll buy a C8 the beginning of the third MY. If, the car is not plagued by problems. Kerbeck is a no brainer for me. They are located about ten miles from my shore house in Ocean City.

If I like the numbers and the styling, it would definitely be Furman, but I'll be holding out for a MT. I'm in no rush, and if the manual doesn't come back in a year or two, I'll re-evaluate based upon what else is available.

The hardest part about buying a 2020 for me will be not being able to buy it with the MT.

I can't say enough about Mike Furman at Criswell. Really good guy to work with.
