It would be nice of Chevy,after the day of the reveal, to send 50 of the camouflaged C-8 to each of the top 50 corvette dealers so that we all could get a up close look at the car. Could someone on this Forum in the know forward this suggestion up the chain to top management at Corvette for possible implementation.

They'll do you one better. All of the dealers get the opportunity to bring an UNCAMOFLAGED C8 to their dealership after the reveal. And I would think most of the top 50 Corvette dealers have signed up to do just that.

There is already a plan in place where dealerships across the country can have a uncamo'd C8 for a day or two.

Why would you want to look at a camouflaged C8 after they reveal what it will actually look like?

I talked to Dave S. at Kerbec. They have a couple of days scheduled. They just can't confirm the exact dates at this time.

It would be cool if they sent 50 un-camouflaged C8s to current and/or former vette owners.

My local dealer is signed up to have the C8 team visit. They will have a special reveal party and those on the list will get VIP "access" that evening. I'm #7 on the list.

I can envision how some of the conversations would go between a potential customer and a salesman, with a demo C8 at their local dealership:

Customer: So, this is nice. What's it cost?
Salesman: (some # over what the big 3 will sell for, with all fees and taxes included)
Customer: Ok, thanks. I'll order from one the national guys. CYA!

They'll do you both even one better than that... eventually, every Chevy dealer across the nation will have at least one C8 on their lot that you can actually touch and sit in and test drive, and even like, buy...
