Stumbled on this in C7 Gen as someone thought they were two new outgoing C7 colors. Maybe my wish of a new Nassau Blue/Jetstream Blue is happening! Very close to the CervIII! Rapid Blue is the 2nd blue on the leaked order guide.
They showed up in the 2019 colors in the GM parts catalog. Rapid Metallic and Accelerate Metallic.

Does GM use the same name across models for colors or no? I'm curious if this could end up being pacific blue equivalent... that's a nice color too and is actually what I have on my truck. Just don't know if it would work on a vette.

No... they have internal pre-production names that I guess come from suppliers... then they have the names as marketed. I.e I think Laguna Blue was Jazz Blue etc. etc. They don't use the same names across cars even when it's the same color.

Gotcha. I think the Cruze/colorado/equinox share some color names but not all of them. Pacific is a nice color, the green metallic flake accents all the curves in the body in the sun and its stunning. My buddy sold his Sierra to buy a new colorado after seeing my truck in that color. He couldn't stop drooling over it. But... it looks horrible on the cruze and equinox. Certain colors only look good on certain things you know?
That light blue kn that rendering is really nice though.
