Default C8 and brand new Ferrari

yesterday a brand new ferrari with 30 day tags pulled along side(grayish dark red vert)while at a long red light. Not as awesome a design as i would have thought. maybe the C8 will actually be more of the LOOKER after all. either the driver was delivering it or had just recently got it, because he was super cautious crawling along on an open road and never even tried to get close enough to pass me at 40mph!
imo the oversized ferrari badge on the side looked a little cheap and a Ferrari should be red

july 18th- here's hoping- at least in the looks department

I just traded a 488 on a 488 Pista which is the best driving car I’ve owned.

I am HOPING the C8 has more Ferrari styling cues than "transformer" stuck on JC Whitney stuff... The current 488 is a great looking car. Those "cheap" Scuderia shields are only about a $1500 option...

Actually they are $1700.00 option. But they are hand made and fired porcelain so like anything with old world craftmanship I am sure it's labor intensive to make.

Much better than a plastic fake chrome and vent that rubs the paint of the fender like on so many Z06 Vettes.

I am hoping for a leap forward with the C8 in overall fit and finish.

I will say the paint on my 16 Callaway looks great after I had it paint corrected and ceramic coating.

With that said I had to do the same with my Ferrari paint correction then ceramic coat .

Paint quality from car to car is pretty close.

I think it will The Ferrari, even the 488 is a low production car as the Vette, even Z06 is a mass production car as I am sure you would agree, which provides the lower cost for a guy like me to afford in my lifetime.
to the C8. I'll like it, I HATED the rear end of the c7 at first, frankly I still am growing into it. It still looks unfinished inmo.

i've often thought about back in the early days of now classic automobiles, you bought the
chassis then could go to a coach builder.

imagine you could choose that Ferrari body style and have it adapted to a C8 chassis.

think being able to do such a thing would be easier if it was an EV?

The new Ferrari convertible has a look and a style all its own. You may not appreciate it. That's an individual thing. I must say, the Ferrari makes the C7, look a bit stodgy.

The 458 forward have been just insane looking. But its not 100k lol so what can you really expect?

As for the vents ibhad the issue. The 19 vents were shipped to my dealer and they had the paint fixed and new vents installed which are few mm smaller than old problem soved and you could never tell they painted the corners of the fenders. Feel bad for anyone who didnt catch that before the b2b was up.

Even so, I would never order them (if I won the lottery).
Like the gentleman said, they look "cheap" and goofy, at a glance.

So, does the Ferrari not come with the front and rear badging then? The side badges are an extra charge?

I second this. I don't agree on the 60K looks. The C7 looks much more exotic and expensive than it is. I expect the same for the C8. Can't wait for the reveal to see if the styling agrees with my taste or not. I have my fingers crossed they will rock it. If not, hopefully, they correct the looks for the "up" models (Z06 & ZR1), which are the only models I would be interested in anyway.

Corvette owners have "Ferrari on the brain"

They are apples and oranges. Don't even try to compare the two. Respect each for what they are.
