I would purchase this car and work on getting accustom to the rear facia.

I’m probably wrong, but the tape location tells me that the scoop is like this. The plastic “blade” is just there because the options list says there’s one...

Glad you are back drawing!

It could be anything at this point but I feel it will have some interesting details. Looking forward to being surprised.

Thanks, couldn’t resist throwing gasoline on the fire. Looks like you got the rear end correct, good job (assuming the that pic isn’t someone’s render)😊

I think this is one of the better renders and wouldn't be disappointed if this was close.

And you are still wrong. There is no evidence to support the position you propose.

I know the leaked order form said something about trim pieces in carbon flash but nothing about a "scoop" trim piece specifically.

He "may" be wrong. We know nothing for sure. It could all be a trick!

Except every single door on every single car is prone to dings since they can all be opened into other objects.

Save the door dings and get in the C8 the cool way...

Im seeing a side scoop with sharp, angular lines to match the style of rear design we already know is legit. The general shape looks to mimic the Aria side scoop many are fond of, I believe the lines of the C8 scoop will have sharper creases instead to match the rear design. I’m liking what I’m seeing.

Not sure how I can be wrong when it's still in camo. Do you really think you are seeing everything the final design has to offer?

Which is why he probably said 'I believe'. You don't need evidence for something you believe to be true. You could have 'logical reasoning' to support your beliefs, instead. Such as "GM would never design a vehicle with a dangling triangle hanging off the door", or something similar.

Honestly, it is tough to believe GM would be that risky but you never know. I don't believe the side scoops are going to be nearly as pronounced as the camo indicates. It's just based on historical GM non-risk taking if you will.

But, I'm hoping for a pleasant surprise on the reveal date!

I’m not claiming there is a Blade just thought that was pretty much accepted, my bad. Here’s it is with no blade:

The rear pic is clearly orchestrated carefully to not show the side of the car. The camera angle was also deliberately from knee level to take the roof out of the pic. Try taking a pic from that angle without bending down and attracting attention. Anyone who believes this was not a GM initiated leak needs to go easy on the caffeine and get out of the carbon monoxide filled garage.

If GM leaked it early, it’s very possibly a bogus pic.

^^^ looks good.

I was just wondering if there was some other info I missed.
I think there will be some sort of "insert" in or around the scoop. The one close up door image shows a big lip following the scoop shape. Not sure how this will look in the end.

It will look like the CAD... there will be a trim/lip. The blue leaked car shows this too.

^^^ I meant how "good" it will look. The detail of the big groove and lip.
I am hopeful.
