spoiler has very awkward angles and body vents that detract. License plate alcove is made to fit wide euro license plate, more deep and awkward lines
tail lights unless they are round will never please anyone but these are over styled and don't look right
the black plastic air vent grills came out of a cereal box
sorry for the rant, but there are MANY beautiful sports cars that have a very attractive posterior
vette has been a pretty epic fail in that department since 1973
Many attempts to "style" the rear end have results in a confused batch of creases and lines and oragami mess that doesn't work
these lines and curves that just don't fit well with the rest
the old c4 zr1 hiney looks better than this one. at least they didn't yet discover goofy tacked on spoilers that disrupts the body lines with a cop out on the aero. Come on guys do you see this being a good blend of down force and drag? Looks like son of c6 there only worse. an integrate rear with a nice flowing spoiler lip would be more aero, look better, weigh and cost less too. there will be a nice after market to s can this spoiler and the mess dragging behind.
make those horrible "eyebrow vents" integrated and narrow. That cheezy plastic just looks like more tacked on cheap crap. You can make airflow through a much better styled piece than just tossing those refugees from the aztec on the back.
sorry. C8 rear fascia does not equal the best work from styling rivals
AMG, Porsche, McLaren, and Aston Martin are some of the better integrated designs that make me give the @$$ m@n award.
Love the corvette, this design needs some serious overhaul and represents a big opportunity for the aftermarket.
thank goodness they unbolt easy. start with the wing.

2020 C8 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
A vast majority saying "they'll wait to answer later" ain't a good sign.
It means they don't care for it but are holding out hope it looks better later.

I saw the comparison of the C8 camo car to the leaked pic of the rear end. That's the C8 and I like it.

Let’s be honest. Has GM released a good looking vehicle since the C7? I was hoping the C8 would be a really cool looking car that I would want to own. I’m sure it will be fast and handle well, but I think it’s going to be ugly. It’s highly unlikely I’ll be buying one

Burning Brakes
Like everything else, people will get over it and most here who can afford it will be driving one. Especially the Z06 version with more extreme styling and likely dark tail lamps.

This isn’t a good place to poll anyway. Extreme fans and power users join forums. The masses will eat it up. It’s gonna be a killer car.

Melting Slicks
I like everything except the fixed spoiler and square exhaust tips. Good news I have a High-end shop that can make a new spoiler to fit the lines of the car and still be functional and I already have a company for the exhaust tips. They did work on my Lotus Evora GTE

What we can’t see is how the rest of the car flows into that rear end. I think that makes a difference. I like the taillights but I really don’t like how the top edge flows from low in the middle to high on the outside edge of the fenders. Looking forward to seeing the whole package. There’s more important aspects of a corvette than how the taillights look. I can’t believe people would say they wouldn’t buy one based on a picture of the rear end. ??

Safety Car
Well, apparently it's getting savaged even harder on other websites than it is here so that's not a good sign. People were expecting to be blown away by the design of a mid-engine Corvette and if this truly is the rear end Chevy/GM dropped the ball in an apocalyptic fashion.
