Default Leaked Rear

I get the sense that most are not happy with it but I'd like to conduct a not-very-scientific poll. Quite simply, what do you think of the rear as it appears thus far between the various spy pics and now the infamous leaked BG photo?

At least the big 'rear-end' issue is not the tail lights this time 'round...

Well, it kinda is...because they're terrible. Maybe not as bad as the spoiler, though. Exhaust tips are pathetic as well. Honestly, there is nothing positive I can say about what I've seen of the rear end in that pic or in all of Chaz's renders. It's just terribly uninspired.

I like it, but don’t like the spoiler. It ruins the lines(based on the renderings and mules). It would be the equivalent of having one on the 458/488 it doesn’t flow and it isn’t active aero like the GT etc.

At least these are things that can be fixed very easily. You can switch out exhaust tips in 20 minutes, and I'm sure there will be aftermarket spoilers out extremely quickly, IF that's the only and real option.
But I do agree there.

maybe upper trim levels will get active aero. agree on the spoiler and on other comments. I'm not as down on the lights as some. but def hating those 90's borla-looking tips out to the side. Now, they might be out there due to constraints in the design of the engine location (though there are plenty of mid engine cars with what I think are better exhaust looks/placements).

Thank you for the polling effort. It should be interesting. I hate it but am keeping an open mind that the rear fascia revealed is not the real deal and is another attempt by GM to throw us off so the reveal is more exciting. At least that is what I am praying for cause it is ugly.

Just a suggestion from an old guy who bought his first Corvette in 1961 - why don't we wait until we can see the whole thing all the way around... rather than looking at a badly lighted fuzzygraph?

i think the issue will be not the tail lights as in the C7 but the whole rear end

have to agree the exhaust tips such no comprison to the C7 with four out the middle rear and that car looks like it has rear damage.

I have to agree with the haters of the spoiler. Maybe / hopefully this is an option I will not purchase

Poll options are too strong... I don't hate it... I'm disappointed but would still buy the car and tolerate it. I would like it much better if I could get a Z51 vert w/o the spoiler.

Hey , one should not have to change out components like spoilers and exhaust tips to get it right. GM designers need to pay more attention to the critics at these sights that have seen these horrible features and have been discussing it for months. These have been visible for months on the mule cars.

There could have been another option that combined the two; "Right now I think it looks like *** but still have hope for the real deal."

Because it does look too "busy" for my personal taste as I see it on screen.

Ask current Camaro drivers what their biggest problem with the car is, and you might be surprised at the answer. Turns out, visibility is the big headache, particularly when it comes to reversing. The coupe’s skinny rear glass and chunky C-pillars don’t make it easy.

Thank Goodness GM engineers finally listened to Camaro-owner complaints and made the necessary improvements to the C8!

Looks like a Camaro backed into a Pepboys.

I will take a wait and see attitude. Not crazy about the exhaust pipes.

good point and duly noted. I'm not going to change the option (not even sure I could) out of respect to people who already answered. I'd guess anyone who doesn't either like or hate it can use the third option.

Trying my best to hold out til reveal day. Corvettes just don't look as good in photos, as they do in person. On top of that this is one shitty photo, so i wanna wait til then...
