Reveal specs?
For those who attended, or watched, the C7 reveal - were detailed specs released during the event???
such as weight? Please.
Or was it mostly a colors and cup holders thing ?
and perhaps if the weight is not officially released someone in attendance could bring back a whisper number - like over/under c7.....c6.....?

you are 8 days to early for this thread......ask again next Friday, or read the release that will be coming out.

Actually his question was fine. Don't have to wait 8 days for a question about the C7 release 5 years ago. I don't remember though if they actually mentioned weight during the C7 reveal but I am pretty sure they did mention horsepower. It's probably on youtube if the original poster wants to check it out to try and figure out if the C8 reveal will do the same.

A cool video. I still remember my excitement that day. That’s when I decided I was getting my first Corvette 👍🏻

I suspect detailed specs of the Stingray version of the C8 will be given at The Reveal.
But I don't expect any substantial info about higher versions (Z06, etc.) will be dropped this year.

Watching that makes me appreciate the C8 (from what we have see so far) so much more. The C8 is dramatically more exotic looking. The Stingray just looks blah now. Although I think the Z06/ZR1 still hold there own.

This is what I hope they don't do for the C8 reveal: poor lighting, under exposed video, over exposed video, terrible dynamic range. Just amateur.

We attended the C7 Reveal Dinner Event at the Petersen Museum and every single aspect of C7 development, design, production, and performance was “revealed”. They had the head of the Bowling Green Assembly Plant, the head of C7 exterior design, the head of C7 interior design, and the Corvette race team head present and they all spoke at length and took questions before and after their individual presentations. Videos of C7 development evolution and extensive wind tunnel videos were presented as well. There was no stat that wasn’t fully disclosed.
The subsequent C7 dinner event at Laguna Seca with Tadge was a little better in some ways and a little less in others. Biggest difference was that the C7 event at The Petersen had a design studio shell car with no interior. But at Laguna Seca, everyone had the chance to hear a C7 start and had a chance to sit in a C7 and play with the controls and displays with the battery hooked up and to view the engine bay as much as they wanted.
The next day at the track they had maybe 10 C7 cars, mostly coupes and a couple of verts. They were in about 5 or 6 different exterior and interior color combinations and many got to sit in them as well. I believe that about 5 of them did several high speed track circuits as a group in tight formation. Quite impressive.
I have have a hard time imagining they will do anything less in Tustin. They could even set up a closed course at the Tustin facility if they so desired and definitely could have some straight all out 1/8 mile runs.

A little birdie says Tadge & Co. are doing a full in-depth presentation on every aspect of the car and the development. Everything will be revealed.
