2020 C8 of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
I answer that with another question:
Can they make a buck on it?

Intuitive cruise control. Current Cadillacs have it.

As great as my C7 is on long trips, super cruise would be dreamy.

If it doesn't already come with it, assume it will soon, as the foundation is there:

My somewhat educated guess, knowing somewhat how these systems work and being fairly certain the bulk of the hardware necessary will be available on every car made, is that some trim level will have it from the get-go. If not, soneone at GM will have made the willful decision to exclude it, in which case you may never see it.

NEVER - Corvettes are DRIVERS CARS!! Keep that on the CT6! Nice car BTW!
SC would be just plain dumb on a Corvette inmho! Although with dual clutch now, it's leaning that way.

They are merging Cadillac and C8 assembly at the BG plant, can full integration of the assembly line to include both models constructed simultaneously on the SAME line be far behind?. At that point GM can add every option and the capability to glam on to every last dime in the newly minted buyer luxury market AND the retirement sports car reward (but as comfortable and equal to a Cadillac) for the hemorrhoid crowd. But GM will have neither a true luxury car nor a true sports car. Just plain vanilla pablum in deluxe packaging for the crowd that can afford to pay more. Go Corvillac Racing to make both groups feel good! Sell both on Monday after a successful Sunday race! whoo hoo!
GM SC: Hands-free Teslas scare me now. Teslas unwillingness to add the $10k 3D LiDAR, instead using 2D radar, has been attributed to a couple of headless Tesla drivers floating around FL now. But is GM LiDAR perfect? People are imperfect, they design imperfect systems, they have gag orders for continued employment. Ergo their corporate "designed by committee" products are imperfect, the blame spread around "by committee," and the Corporation fighting like a cornered wolverine to defend their actions. I'm not ready for that imperfect storm to hit me (probably from behind) by an imperfect corporation that managed to take an ignition switch, in use since 1949, and make it lethal 52 years later.

I’d just be happy with adaptive cruise like my 13 Ford has.

When the ME Cadillac shows up....
I'd expect adaptive cruise on the Vette at the most.

I enjoy driving, don’t want or need super cruise to help me fall asleep on night time highways drives.
