Told him I have to have a manual trans plus it was my guess the Z06 version would not be available for at least a year after the base model. That is when he told me they were already testing them.
Good choice. I will never again have a base Corvette and definitely never again purchase the first two model years. I will wait for the M7 ZO6 C8 or will just keep my M7 C7Z. The base corvette will be a 60k, mass produced, untunable (at least for awhile) car with a bunch of things that need to get worked out. Nothing special. Just my opinion

The issue with that is an NA version would likely not have forged internals thereby requiring rebuild to make any real power. The C7Z and C7ZR1 stock long block will take 1000+whp all day

Yep. Have the same hood. Mine does not look nearly as high though

Those aren't even 2 part rotors. They're just j-hooks like the C7 Z51.

Wheels look like redesigned Z06 wheels. Also believe when the C7 Z06 was revealed, they said the Stingray and Z06 were developed & tested at the same time.

Those wheels are the optional "trident" wheel listed on the leaked configurator. They're not anything new.
