If rumor is correct the reveal will be just 7 miles from my house. Although as a ZR1 owner I did not get an invite, I was thinking of cruising by the presumed location anyway., But don't know what time would be good for a cruise. Maybe I could meet up with other Vette owners in the area.

Sorry to hear of your situation. But, thanks for staying up to date with and posting about a car you no longer have an interest in, no longer like and, in fact, really dislike. It's good to hear you don't have any 'closure' issues in ending that relationship and have 'totally' gotten over it.

My wife was born and raised in Newport Beach, Orange County, CA, and her Dad owned a C2 when she was a kid. Plus, they were good friends with Bill Tritt, the founder of Glaspar, who is mentioned in Corvette history as the father of fiberglass car bodies (one of his Glaspar G2s in in the Smithsonian collection), and I own a C2 and a C6 and did not get an invite.
There's my free toast post.
