Faster than the base C7 Stingray, for sure.

Well think if it this way. The c7 stingray has 460hp and front engine/rear wheel drive setup. Stock auto, (seeing we may get auto only on the new c8) runs roughly around low 12s. Now we have the c8 as if the rumors are correct 500hp, with a mid-engine/rear wheel drive setup. I could see 11.5 maybe a little higher depending on driver and the car if it has launch control.

With more weight over the rear wheels, traction control has more help putting power down with less need to pull power, combined with the DCT; I'm going with mid-11s, perhaps better, but no lower than about 11.25 with 500hp.

I think it will be at least a half a second faster than outgoing C7 base, the DCT trans alone is going to be good for 3-4 tenths

What he said... It all comes down to what it's going to weigh and if the car can launch well. To put this in perspective Porsche GT3 has 500hp and weighs 3200lbs has one of the best launch controls and traps 126... You're out lol

I say 11.45 @122. Since we're just kicking it around.

I would hope low 11 range. A 991.2 C2S with 420 HP will clear in 11.5. Granted the 911 has a great launch control system.

absolutely? no way? what? Why do you think they call it a 'prediction'? Because we are *predicting* it... doesn't mean we *know* it.
We know the HP/TQ will be more than 450/450. And probably less than 550/550.
Weight will be from 3300-3600. Standard tires will probably be the same as the C7 base.
We know we have a mid-engine. Probably a V8 naturally aspirated. Most likely the same or slightly more displacement than in C7 base.
We know mostly what the car looks like and we can get very close to the CD ratio.
I think we have enough to make a *prediction*, don't you?

My educated guess is 11.9-12's @ 118mph.

save quarter mile times for the Hellcat.. I would be more concerned with how many G's it can pull in a corner
