The C8 ordering ADM game?
Referred a friend interested in a C8 to Koons Clarksville Chevrolet, Buick, GMC in Clarksville, MD (formally Win Kelly). They said they're only getting six C8's and will set price based on market conditions implying ADM. What are people inquiring about the C8 hearing about pricing? ADM? MSRP? Under MSRP?
GM has a terrible history of protecting their performance vehicle pricing by offering deep discounts as soon as the market softens. Doesn't seem like a high volume (technically base) Corvette should command ADMs.

I'd just buy from an honest forum sponsored dealer
In 2008 the Challenger was going for 15k over MSRP first year, the Camaro was going for 5-10k over MSRP, but there WERE a few dealers who sold them honestly and at price. Shouldn't be hard to find a dealer to secure the car you want!

I would expect MSRP initially with some gouging by dealers who are actually able to get away with it. If you go by C7 release then I seem to remember discounts appearing pretty quickly afterwards. 6 months? Maybe a little longer?

Should we create a bad dealer ADM thread and a good dealer MSRP or less thread? I certainly don't blame dealers asking the full list for a C8 initially, but asking over MSRP when production is likely going to be above 30k cars is crazy.

Here in Northern Virginia I can hear the dealers salivating! The last time I went to our local Chevy dealer they had $20k ADM on their C7's less than 18 months ago. Not just on the Z06 but all their Corvettes....

It will be the people who have more money than patience who get gouged by ADM's

Actually, that's a good idea. I have 3 dealers in my area that have already said at least a 10k mark up.

Much easier and shorter to have just a "MSRP Dealer" list, as the list of "ADP Dealers" who are going to gouge by adding $5k, $10k, or even $15k to C8's sticker would be hundreds of dealers long, basically encompassing >90% of all Chevy dealers nationwide (my estimate, but I'll bet its accurate!)

JBA Chevrolet in Glen Burnie, MD is doing MSRP with a $5k refundable deposit if anyone is interested. They’ve done a great job servicing my C7 even though I didn’t buy it from them.

I expect to see starting ADM of $20K on this car for any 2020s, especially the earliest ones. I've already heard that number from 2 dealerships close to me (SoCal). I mean come on, they were putting Supras up for $30K ADM (shockingly they were selling them - I have friends at Toyota). Even now they still have $5K-10K ADM at some places and are just negotiating down to MSRP. And the demand on the Supra (cough rebadged BMW cough) has been absolutely tepid. C8 is gonna be way more desirable.
