Default 1st C8 "burnout", live on video...

Looks like it may have been taken at the GM plant.

Sounds better than I thought.

He said it's Number #111, not sure what that means?

Seems like a lots of Torque from this badboy.

BTW, in case you haven't visited any Non-Corvette forums recently, the Jealousy is surreal.

Ford GT350 & GT500 fanboys are pissed. The GT500 will start pulling away after 100MPH (duh 760HP) the GT350R still rules the track, yada, yada, yada... never seen so many crybabies.

Porsche fanboys said the Ford executive Lied about Sub 3 seconds, it's physically impossible... Lying more than CNN making up all kinds of BS.

Camaro ZL1 owners want to dump their Z for the C8... I think Camaro ZL1 is nearly dead in the water after this reveal. Manual is a small % of buyers.

Enjoy, less than 30 seconds.

More pulls. 1:35 mark:

That’s not a burnout. That’s barely tire squeal.

Got anything better?

Best I've seen yet.

Gave me a good idea what the power and traction are like.

Exhaust made a Snap, crackle, pop at the end.

Before the reveal, I had no intention of dumping my ZL1. After the reveal, I’m certain I will. I’ve never been so excited for a base model.

Mark me down as one of those ZL1 owners as well!

While the promised C8 Z51 0-60 time BLOWS AWAY my ZL1's, I still want to see what kind of 1/4 mile times and trap speeds the Z51 gets before I 100% commit to make the switch back into a Corvette.

If I'm being honest, I am not impressed . It is not aggressive sounding at all.

That is the production number. #111 experimental build.
Looks like there are about 114 out there.

My two year old son watched this video with me about 15 times in a row this weekend. I think he's a fan! :-)

That seems a pretty decent demo of traction control, with tire squeal but no spinning right from the launch and without obvious engine stutter. If the Z version can do that, I'd be impressed.
