Security devices and valet mode
Is anyone familiar with the C8 valet mode? Specifically, do the cameras and sensors sync in recording and how does it compare to "Sentry" mode in Tesla? I love / hate watching YouTube captures of Tesla vandals.

We only know what the C7 does, but the C8 will probably be similar. It only uses the front facing PDR camera, and records the same information recorded by the PDR. The camera image, speed and acceleration, cornering forces. And I think only if the ignition is on. So unless the vandal is right in front of the car, with the car running, it won't record them. It's designed to let you know if a valet or mechanic is mishandling your car, not as a security system.
