Default Short people friendly?

This will be my first Corvette and to be honest I'm a pretty short guy at 5 foot 4 inches tall. Has anyone that is short sat in the new C8? How's the visibility over the front end etc? Thanks in advance.

I'm a tall guy (6'5") and went to check the fitment out the other day. Just ahead of me was a rather short guy around maybe 5'2" or so -- with the telescoping wheel and all of the seat adjustments he seemed to be able to get into a pretty comfortable position without being "ontop" of the wheel. It didn't look like he'd have any front visibility issues -- though being as far forward as he was it might have impeded some of his visibility on the right hand side of the car, but I think that's going to be a tough spot for everybody in this thing. My wife (5') wasn't a big fan due to the lack of rear/side visibility, she didn't seem to have a problem with front visibility. She was pretty much ontop of the wheel though.

So with that information I think I should be solid. I'm sure the visibility in some aspects is not that great regardless of height but hey that's kinda the nature of the beast lol. Good thing the LT2 comes with blind spot monitoring and cross traffic alert. Thanks for the input!

Yeah dude you’ll be fine. Most people don’t put their driving position in the proper race setting anyways, so do that you’ll be good. You’ll feel close to everything but it’ll feel good when you drive.

On my C7 I use the memory seats for two “modes”, 1 is a cruise mode and 2 is for the track.

Congrats on getting a Corvette. Fitting in sports cars is the one time when short people rule. You'll be fine. It will fit you like a glove.

Now if you were tall, that could be a different story.

Rear visibility should be pretty good with full time camera view (2LT and 3LT trims) showing up on the full HD screen where the mirror is. There’s a short video somewhere,

I'm 5'6" and I sat in one, felt totally comfortable to me. I think the mid engine layout is actually better for short people . I ordered one I'm 120 of 200 allocated to my dealer.

How was the visibility over the front for you? Does the seat height adjustment travel upwards a good bit? Thanks for your info btw.

On the C8, the designers did a lot of work to lower the top of the dashboard for better visibility. You should have better forward visibility in the C8 than just about any car around.
