LT6=Z06?
LT7 w/o hybrid =ZR1?
LT7 w/ hybrid=Zora?
Or maybe the hybrid will be an option on the ZR1 and there is no Zora? Who knows.

I don't see GM putting a 600 hp motor in the Z06. Maybe the LT6 goes in the Grand Sport, and the LT7 without hybrid is for the Z06 and the LT7 with hybrid is for the ZR1?

Has GS ever been produced with more HP than the base?

No, but it makes more sense than a Z06 with only 600 HP.

Agreed. Plus it will be nice for the Grand Sport to have it's own engine instead of "just" being a Z06 with a Stingray engine

I could see 600 hp as a preliminary hp # for the Z06. Clearly it takes less hp to accelerate faster with ME.
Also, the prelim LT2 was only 469 hp.

I would love to see a NA Z06 again.

My guess is:

LT6 - Z06 (keep in mind the NA C6 Z06 was "only" 505hp, so going back to NA, this would actually be inline with expectations, ie would have been 550ish for C7 Z06 if NA, and now 600ish) (and originally, when they decided to go SC for the C7 Z06, I believe there were comments that GM wasn't even planning to do a C7 ZR1)
LT7 (750lb-ft) - ZR1
LT7 Hybrid (922lb-ft) - Zora (or perhaps they might even use the "E-ray" moniker that GM trademarked, given that it will have partial electric)

100% agree. But only half of the story, it also needs a serious diet!

That makes a lot of sense. I plan on keeping my C8 Z51 forever and getting a ZR1 a couple years after it comes out, but if the Z06 has a NA FPC with about 600 hp... I'd consider trading my Z51.

That IS the C7 ZR1. First pic says FR-L for the 755HP engine whereas the ones below say MR-L.

I hear a Caddy version of the Z06 with the Caddy DOHC engine.

600 n/a FPC would be the ultimate Corvette for me.
I chase GT3 RS' at Sebring and they pull me (19 Z06) with only 520 hp. Great gearing, fast DCT, great weight distribution, all are just as important as hp.

And not to mention that awesome N/A high revving flat 6 sound! Not a fan of 6 cylinders and below but GT3/GT3 RSs are an exception.
