Default Red stitching with LT1 question

I just placed my order for a C8 with Torch Red and black interior (LT1). I asked the dealer if I could order red stitching instead of the white......dealer couldn't find any info on this request. Anyone out there have any input concerning an option of ordering red stitching with black interior on LT1 level. Please advise and thanks in advance for your input!

I ordered a 1LT with Adrenaline Red seats, I like the red stitching that will be on all the black areas of the interior. Kind of an extra bonus at no additional cost.

Red or yellow stitching is only available on 3LT unfortunately.

Red stitching on the 1LT trim level is only available with Adrenalin Red as the order guide shows.

This is the C8 section, not the C7 section. There is no LT1 engine or trim level on the C8.

The Corvette team member in the new model display at NCM Thursday told me that the 1LT interior will have red stitching when the red GT1 seats are ordered.

Thanks for the confirmation! Also, I’m surprised dealer is inputting a 1LT order when they are constrained until December.

Why not? GM picks up the orders as constraints are released provided he has allocation..... Make sure your order is marked "Retail Sold"...

You have to get the 3LT Trim. There is some red stitching on the steering wheel when you order the red seats on the 1LT trim.

The configurator shoes red stitching on the doors, center console, steering, dash, etc’ with 1LT and red seats. Is that not correct? I’m confused.

You are correct. 1LT with red seats gets red stitching on the door panels, center console, dash, steering wheel, and it has the red stripe at the top of the wheel.

Well.....I started this thread and it appears there is a multitude of opinions on my initial red stitch question. I'm going to call my dealer to see if they can "CONFIRM" that if I change to the red Adrenaline seats then red stitching will be included on all the rest of the interior with an 1LT base model order.....worth a try!

Default Dealer unlikely to know.

The C7 did not do that so dealer will likely not know. The concierge folks are not that knowledgeable and so do we trust the online build tool?

I am going 1LT with adrenaline red and hoping for red stitching on the other areas...

Here it is in the flesh, and it's in a 1LT car because the car doesn't have rear view camera or metal speaker covers on the door panels.

That should be made a sticky because this question keeps coming up.

As seen from the configurator AND real photos, the 1LT with Adrenalin Red interior gets red stitching on more than just the seats.

Default Agree on Sticky

This is great news! Chevy did the right thing, the red seats only on 1LT in the C7 looked odd with no other tie in to the all black trim. The red stitching on the black areas make a big difference. Select black seat belts and will look awesome.

True on the 1LT C7 with Adrenaline Red interior the stitching was all grey, however on the 1LZ Z06 with the same Adrenaline Red Seats, had Red stitching on the Black areas of the dash, steering wheel, console, and door panels. Also had the Red paddles for the rev match or auto. At least that was the case with the '18 1LZ Z06 that I had. Glad they are doing this on the 1LT C8.
