Engine Painted cover $495.00 on Ebay

Yes I noticed this also, the colors seem to be close, once in the engine bay and not next to the original color outside I think it will look good, I wonder how much these covers will be costing from the factory, just a piece of plastic but I'm guessing 500.00 each.

$520.00 for only stock paint - COVER not included. You send them your cover, they return a painted cover, exchabge.

I understood that, the question was how much will they pay for the engine covers to do a exchange program.

They will only buy a very small number of stock engine covers. They will replenish via the exchange. For every one they paint, they get a stock one free.

Free ? how ? they are sending you the ones they buy so its not free.......Its exchange.

That's quite a combo, I think I saw there is a Color that looks like the Zeus color, the yellow would POP!!!

Zeus bronze with yellow calipers and yellow engine cover would look sweet. Also would look good on a black car.

so ,im paying a guy $500 to paint my stock cover,+ shipping both ways

I can get a local body shop to do this for 1/2 or less and no shipping

I can do it myself with rattle cans for well under $50. It's a cheap plastic cover. It doesn't need nearly the same kind of prep work and multi layered paint processes as an exterior body part that's exposed to the elements.

Very, very fishy for delivery is guaranteed by Sept 23rd. How so with the first C8’s for us customers not starting until December 2nd.

Not touching this with a ten foot pole.
