I take a break from this forum due to how awful the community is, and this is the first thing I see after visiting again.

This is honestly the worst community out of any car forum I've ever read. Bunch of vitriolic ********. Some of you people need to evaluate what makes you so miserable that you feel the need to hop on a forum and do literally nothing except aggressively fight over the dumbest stuff imaginable. Its just exhausting to read. Every. Single. Thread. Without fail turns into an argument with 10 people foaming at the mouth over some inconsequential BS. Mods need to just start banning people who do nothing but pick fights and disrupt the place.

Somehow I doubt that is Motor Trend. Tadge will not let anyone test until the release an actual production unit. That won't be for a while.

It's a delicate time balance on when GM releases C8(s) for independent testing. That time balance exists for GM's desire to maximize the published buzz, OP-ED, and test results. In effect, GM is getting advertising they could never afford to buy, all free from the magazines.

They've been building saleable cars for a while now. There's allegedly at least 100 out there based on observed VINs.

MotorTrend is reviewing it. It's on their Instagram page right now showing them reviewing and testing it out.

Yes. And super-quick upshifts. Once it got rolling it sounded fine, but the launch control clicks were annoying.

Actually, BG Plant Director, Kai Spande said at the NCM event on August 29, that saleable cars produced in BG on the regular assembly line would be delivered to a number of reviewers for testing this month.

Looking forward to it.

On insta stories they showed the car being weighed... surprising that they only have two scales and have to weigh 1/2 and 1/2 like that.

I love how all these idiots post their "opinions" like they know it for a fact, and then get proven wrong instantly

This shift sound doesn’t indicate aggressive mode!
However considering 2nd shift is 60 mph mark, stopwatch showed estimated time of 3.3 sec
