The Battery is in the frunk, I believe behind the panel near the firewall. The Battery saver package is more than a C-Tek 3300. The package includes a convenient female plug in (in the frunk) for the tender. I have it in my C7Z and it is very convenient. Worth the 100 bucks IMO.
I bought the tender from Cultrag performance (Forum Vendor) not from a LPO when I ordered the car. My C8 came with the outlet in the Frunk

The female plug is standard - not part of the battery saver package.

Is the GM one specific? Thank you.
You're right. It is standard.

Yes, the socket in the frunk is standard.

Wrong, The female outlet in the frunk is standard.
If anyone has the MANUAL for the C8 Battery Protection Package, Option LPO Code (ERI), would you mind Posting it in a PDF format.
Would like to read it over before car arrives next week.
Thank You

It is simply plug and play. Just remember to take the orange plug protector off before plugging it in. It will fit, but won't charge

Send me a PM. I cannot post this PDF file here for some reason. I can email it to you.
User Manual [PDF ] This is the owners manual for the CTEK 3300. The C8 version is a stripped down version of the 3300 (has only a single mode - the 14.4V 3.3A mode that is appropriate for the C8.
The actual C7 manual that came with the charger from GM is different than this. I have access to both.
I know you all are talking about the C8 version, but my C7 you do not take the orange cap off and it charges.
I have a C7. If you're talking about the same circular end-cap at the end of the power connector that should remain attached to the end of the connector. It twists off. Leave it on.
