Default 2020 model year pricing and RPO codes

Ladies and Gentlemen

10/10/19 Version "E" posted it now includes the CONVERTIBLE!! Because of the difference in the cost of the convertible and 1LT vs. 2 and 3LT the base price of the convertible will not appear until you select your equipment group.
10/12/19 Version "E1" option added.
11/1/19 Version "E3 Nancelles option added for convertibles and 2 cells unprotected.
11/14/19 Version "E4 Available Options at NCM"

It has been a while but I had requests to post the C8 price sheet as I have done in previous years. This is the 6th model year that I am posting an Excel spreadsheet that will let you figure out what your new car will set you back. It has many of the same features from previous years. You can download the spreadsheet below. If you need help you can PM me. Anyone who finds any errors can let me know and I will fix and update the spreadsheet and this page. It would be a good idea to subscribe to this thread just in case there are any changes and this way you will be notified.

For most selections in column "H" you can select an item and by putting an "x" in the column but if the option is not available pricing won't show up. When selecting a model and trim package you will have to go to the seating chart area and select your seating color and seat type before you go to your exterior color as there are some limitations on exterior colors based on interior color selections. As before if you select GT2 or Competition Buckets you will see an automatic price increase.

For those interested I have included an amortization or loan calculator. It may not be exact but it will give you a good idea of your monthly payments if you so choose.

If you are not familiar with Excel or this spreadsheet please read the following:

In column H you will see a Yellow ribbon running from cell H2 to cell H251. To start select the model of the car you want to price out (there's only one for now) by putting an "x" in column H next to the model. Next select the trim 1LT, 2LT, or 3LT by using the same "x" process, because of the difference in the cost of the convertible and 1LT vs. 2 and 3LT the base price of the convertible will not appear until you select your equipment group.. Once you select the trim level some of the yellow column will automatically have x's in them to indicate that the option or feature is included in your vehicle selection. In the Yellow column continue putting x’s next to the options that you want. Keep in mind the following:

You must select a model and trim before you will see the seating options. It is best to select your seat options before selecting your exterior color as there a a few limitations.

Once you have selected all your options you can now proceed to the bottom of the page. Column “D” is where you will be working. Cell D254 will give you the MSRP for the vehicle. If you have a trade in cell D255 is the place to put it. At this point in cell D256 you can put in any number you want to indicate the discount you think is fair and reasonable. Cell D257 is where you can show any dealer or GM incentives. You can figure sales tax if you like (you need to change the percentage in column C cell 259) by putting in the percentage for your state. You can then enter Motor Vehicle charges if any.

Since this pricing is so new dealer pricing may not be accurate at this point (not that it will matter for now at least)

Some people say that you can do this online. That maybe true but you can do so much more that I think you will find this tool worthwhile.

Please remember you can only work in the Yellow and Green cells except as noted above (and yes some of the yellow cells are no longer available as they will be selected automatically when you select your trim) you cannot click on any other cells.

For those who live in the 7 US states that do not give you credit for a trade in regarding state sales tax put an "x" in cell E259.

This spreadsheet will be added to as new pricing becomes available.

Thank you and enjoy!!!

Mike

Ken,

Some problems I have identified.
  • Delivery is included in the base price, so you are double counting it.
  • IOT is included in 2LT, 3LT but you are including the option price, again resulting in a double count.
  • GT2 seats are include in 3LT is including the option price, again resulting in a double count.

Default Comp Seat

I believe the Competition seat option is supposed to be available at a reduced cost to the buyer of $500 when the 3LT trim is selected, however, the spreadsheet is charging full option cost even when 3LT is selected. Can you update?

Another bug; the spreadsheet is charging a $395 two tone seat charge, however, this charge doesn’t apply when the Competition seats are selected; only for the GT2 seats.

Thanks.

Ken,

UVB - HD Rear Vision Camera is included in 2LT and 3LT. Your spreadsheet shows it as "Not Available"

Regarding the first part I corrected the sheet to reflect the discount to $500. As far as the $395 for two tone seats that seems to be very fuzzy. TU7 is the RPO for that option and as the description says it is only available with.......... and it goes on to tell you what it goes with. Nowhere does it say N/C for any seating with this option. If you can show me where it is stated I'll clear it up. Much appreciated. I try to do my best and all the extra eyes are very helpful and this year is amazing with all the color and seat combinations.

Thanks,

Mike

Thanks for putting together the spreadsheet. I used your spreadsheet to compile an order before going to my dealer. We built my car there using the Visualizer because that was all they had at that time. I had selected the suede inserts on a 3LT GT2 seat along with the two-tone seats. Later when the dealer went to enter in my order it would not let him enter the suede seat inserts without also adding the suede steering wheel at an additional $595.00

After posting a query here and later going over the RPO order sheet it clearly states that you must order the suede seats if you want the suede wrapped steering wheel However, there is only a footnote on another page that says the opposite ie. you must order the suede steering wheel if you order the suede seat inserts. One would think that if each one requires the other then why didn't GM just list and RPO for a Suede Package that includes the steering wheel and seat inserts for $595.00? You can't get one without the other!

Your spreadsheet did not reflect that ordering the suede seat inserts requires the suede steering wheel but you may have already made a correction. Thanks for your work. I was able to verify the MSRP of $82,135.00 from your spreadsheet to the same MSRP on the Dealer's Order form. I ended up dropping the suede seat inserts as I did not want a suede wrapped steering wheel.

It was confusing for me so I broke the same RPO code into 3 separate rows each with its own description. I reread the very very fine print and see what you mean. Please download a new copy and tell me if you think it is correct now.
