Any pictures of convertibles with the High Wing? Body colored nacelles or not? I have looked a bit and can't seem to find any.

2020 C6 of the Year Winner - Modified
The body-colored frame around the windshield is awful & I’ve never liked the black top/mirrors GM puts on their cars. I had my Hugger Orange SS hard top & mirrors painted body-color & I have the body-color top on my IOM GS, but there needs to be a black top & frame around the windshield on these cars.

Ordered the body colored Nacelles. For me, the black ones make the top look like something added as an afterthought. Personal taste is what makes us different

2. Disagree completely. The roof line to a-pillar is a constant arc now vs. the C5/6/7 having more of an angle (C7 had the most). On those cars it made sense for the a-pillars to be black as the targa roof went all the way to the glass and it created a wrap-around cockpit look. On the C8 the body colored surround works best.

The more I look at the C8 the less I like it...I think the complete body color bits (including the side scoops) does clean the car up a bit but it just doesn't look good to me.

I'd like it if the windshield surround could be optioned carbon flash. As for the option of nacelles, I think the convertible looks great in carbon flash nacelles but only with the roof down. With the roof up I like body colour better.
Since its a convertible and the top should be down more often then up I'd probably option the full carbon flash roof and nacelles to eliminate the windshield body colour and just leave the roof down as often as I could.
I wouldn't do this if I had a silver or grey car. Only on bright colours with good contrast would I do carbon flash nacelles.

The roof looks better to me and more integrated. But to each their own.

Looks great both ways. The interesting aspect is with todays wraps you can order the c8 in body color and when and if the mood strikes you can wrap the nacelles and or roof if you want to try something different.
over time variety is the spice of life.
thanks for posting up the photos.
im buying a targa but love the retractable hardtop as well.

One thing to consider is how much (if any) additional effort it will be to keep an essentially black top looking clean. I believe it’s metallic, so that should help, but gotta be more effort then body color, especially for the lighter colors.
