Xpel XR window tint
Looking at the Xpel XR window tint at 20% tint.
It has a very good/high heat rejection percentage (83%) due to the ceramic properties in the window film.
Any comments on this tint?

I have a 2019 C7 with Xpel Prime Plus 35 sides and rear hatch glass. It is was extremely expensive but I plan to keep Corvette for a long time so I overlooked the cost. I had the Corvette in Florida twice last summer and also this past April and May. Yes the tint certainly does keep the car a lot cooler when driving or when parked outside and cuts down on glare. I also use a WeatherTech roll up windshield screen which is a huge plus. My everyday hi mile driver is a 2012 Acura RL with generic 35 tint. I paid the Acura dealer dealer $200 vs $800 on the Vette for Xpel. 170k miles later I have to say the $200 generic tint has held up perfectly, kept my Acura black leather interior looking new, and seems to reject heat quite well. Today it was in the high 80s here in Arlington Va. I had a new TLX dealer loaner with black interior. I was roasting compared to my RL or Corvette with the tinted glass. Also the non tinted TLX was an oven after sitting in a parking lot for an hour.

Watch this video from Esoteric, a well known detail shop, about window tinting. Around 5:30 he talks about advantage of ceramic tint and the color disadvantage. The whole video is worth a watch.
