Had my car lowered today at BR Racing in Los Gatos. First, let me say that BR Racing generally works on European cars and their garage is often filled with supercars in true race form. I’ve used them in the past and they perform work to the highest standard, albeit at a slightly higher price than most. The owner was completely honest in his lack of affection for Corvettes of past as street cars, but he was blown away by the drastic level of change in the refinement, drivability and interior design of the C8. He did wish there was more range for adjustments on the alignment. Nevertheless he worked it to a setup that he thought would give the C8 a sportier and more stable setup for the street. Drove it for 30 minutes today and no issues at all with any rubbing and the car handles beautifully.
The Cicio kit is perfect. It matches the maximum drop on the rears leaving the car with the slight forward rake it has from the factory.

How long did it take them to do the job? Do you have Mag and FL on your car? Any complications?

Between the install and alignment about 6 hours. I have MR and FL. No complications whatsoever and this was their first time working on a C8. The car is riding beautifully and the FL makes lowering a no brainer. I ran it in all the modes last night and didn’t notice any issues with MR either.
The didn’t have current C8 factory ranges loaded up in their system, but they don’t use those anyway. The pre and post alignment specs were measured. Hope that clarifies.
I drove the car for around 200 miles today. I can’t believe how much better the car handles with the new alignment and lowering kit. The turn in is so much crisper. I don’t know why the factory alignment was set up that way but I can tell you that the alignment BR Racing gave me significantly transforms the handling for those wanting a great street setup.
Today I met several C8 buyers waiting for their cars. Each one completely freaked out at how much better the C8 looks in person. I was happy for their excitement and told them lowering and alignment is the best value added mod I can think of.
