Default Front brake ducts?

Is there front cooling ducts like the rears you can install for the track? I see a open air ducts in the front next to the radiator and a plastic tray that kind of points to the front wheel. I'm asking because dealer installed the rear brake ducts during the PDI and I also did not get a funnel for the gas tank.

the front is like a tray that they should have installed. On the rear only the duct should be installed not the part that drops down. That part is only for track

With the Z51 package there are both front and rear brake ducts. The front ones should have been installed during PDI. The rear ones are ONLY installed for track use. If they installed the rear ones, you need to remove them if your street driving your car as they hang down low and will more than likely get torn off on the street. Plus, they have been documented scooping up paper and catching fire. I'd get back to the dealer and have them read the fine print on the PDI checklist.

So I should have a set of rear ducts in my trunk when I take delivery? (fronts should be installed)

Also, what is the funnel that is referenced?

This place is such a great source of info! I love it.

So where is the funnel for the gas tank located? I looked in the manual:

1. Locate the capless funnel adapter.
2. Insert and latch the funnel into the capless fuel system.
3. Remove and clean the funnel adapter and return it to the storage location.

Very helpful. Would it be that hard to tell you in the owner’s manual where exactly it’s located?

It’s the funnel you need to add gas to the tank if you are adding gas out of a gas can, you would need it if you ever ran out of gas while driving.

Thanks the fronts are installed like the pic. I will have the dealer take the rear ducts off. Already picked up a plastic bag in the rear duct, do you leave the part that is on the backing plate?

Remove the duct portion that hangs down and leave the rest. GM designed the car so that when you take it to the track, you simply put the lower scoop on then go racing.

My funnel was in the bag with the rear brake ducts, in the trunk, upon delivery.
