Black C8 w/ Matte PPF

Hello,

thinking of going with black on my Z06 build.

I’m wondering if anyone has gone with a Matte PPF w/ ceramic coat in their black C8? If so how is the upkeep? Would you do it again?

It is your car and your money but I wouldn't buy a matte finished skateboard. I think matte finish looks cheap and looks like ti was painted with Krylon barbecue paint you can get down at Lowes.

2024 1LT, not one single option, with added OEM splitter and GM Accessory low rise spoiler (oh, and windows are tinted 20%):

I also went with a 1LT. I have chrome emblems and the optical exhaust. Been considering the that spoiler.

Depends on shipping charges. The Chevrolet Accessories website is free to ship to your local dealer…and you can use your points if you have any. I used shopchevyparts when I ordered the transparent top, but Chevy accessories for the spoiler…

Needed to see this thread today. My black C8 was built yesterday and while excited, ive been second guessing my color choice. I was attracted to black off the bat and chose it as a result. I really did not give it more thought than that. The high maintenance requirements required to keep a black daily driven car clean never crossed my mind. Seems like shortly after my order was accepted thats when I became educated. Theres no looking back now and I guess ill add frequent washes to my weekly activities lol. It feels good to see others enjoying the color choice. Ill post pics of my ride once I pick it up.
