Default ~9/6/2020~C8 deliveries all over USA, New Colors, Old pics *Mike Furman@Criswell*

~Special ordering Corvettes...they're all special as far as I'm concerned. There is no such thing as a vanilla order...the new C8 gives you many choices in every area of specifications.
For any of you that have ever ordered and taken delivery from me would know that I enjoy each and every Corvette delivery. I feel the same way if you found one on the lot, new or used.
I'm a Corvette enthusiast and I always hope to have one in my garage. The most I've owned at one time was 11 and believe me, battery upkeep was not fun.
Check out my Corvette dedicated web site www.corvettefurman.com or Instagram corvette.furman or follow my deliveries on my Corvette Furman Facebook page.

*Back when the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY first opened in 1994...the Konner family donated 1 of the 50 produced 1986 Corvettes that were special editions
named for Malcolm Konner. Only 50 "Commemorative" Corvette's were produced honoring the New Jersey Chevrolet Dealers founder, Malcolm Konner.
The picture below is from the Corvette Museum's Grand Opening and left to right is Gary Konner, Mrs. Florence Konner, and Gary's wife, Cathy Konner.
I worked for the Konner Auto group all through the '80s.

*2 new Colors were on display the other day at the Corvette Museum.

C8 deliveries all over the globe...

~Ken and Julie D. of Edgewood, Kentucky are first time Corvette owners and they checked all the boxes. Yesterday they took delivery at the National Corvette Museum in their home state of Kentucky.
Torch Red with Natural dipped interior is just striking from every angle. Only 143 mile ride to their KY home and every mile was thoroughly enjoyed. They will be joining me at Spring Mountain in Nevada next month and we will finally get to meet.
I am sure they are looking forward to the Corvette Furman experience at Spring Mountain in Pahrump, Nevada but for now, they are enjoying every moment of owning their new Corvette. Google : The At Home Chef. https://www.theathomechef.com/author/ken/

~Dan B. of Plantation, Florida placed an order for a new Blade Silver 2020 Corvette and just took delivery at the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY. The red carpet was rolled out for Dan just like for all my Corvette clients. On his order sheet is Adrenaline Red GT2 seats, sterling silver full-length dual racing stripes, chrome badges, edge red calipers, performance exhaust, sterling silver wheels, 2LT Pkg, edge red fender stripes, and much more!

~Gary and Patricia B. of Chesterfield, MO factory ordered their Torch Red 2020 Corvette in person. Gary flew East to Maryland so he could go line by line with me to get exactly what he was seeking. Mission accomplished! This past week the Corvette Museum rolled out the red carpet for their special delivery. Gary had it shipped back home via the enclosed trailer and the trucker beat him home with their new Corvette. Gary sold his award-winning C1 to make room in the garage for his new C8.

~Joyce and Chris B. of Tomah, Wisconsin picked up Joyce’s new Corvette at the National Corvette Museum on Chris’s birthday this past Wednesday. Joyce is thrilled to finally have her special ordered Corvette home in Wisconsin. Long Beach Red was the color of Joyce’s choice. Joyce clicked off almost every single box on the order box! The Natural dipped interior really is spectacular on this loaded 3LT Z51 coupe! Joyce is the Corvette person in the family but I think her husband will come around after seeing and driving this new C8.

~Bill W. of Chantilly, Virginia factory ordered his very first Corvette in Long Beach Red with Black interior. His new 2020 Z51 Corvette coupe is stunning top to bottom.
Bill found me on the internet and was glad he only lived across the state border about 45 minutes away. I am sure Bill will be spending many hours behind the wheel weekly in his new C8.

~Craig N. of Richmond, Virginia actually works in St Louis so he ordered his new Long Beach Red 2020 Corvette and it will ship out next week. The Natural interior was his choice for the GT2 bucket seats. 2LT was a must along with a transparent roof.
This is Craig’s 2nd Corvette and it’s been a long time since he has owned a Corvette!

~William and Julie S. of Atlanta, GA spec'd out a Torch Red 2020 Corvette Z51 coupe with Jet Black interior. We did all the paperwork via Fed Ex this past week and yesterday
Plycar Trucking loaded it on the enclosed trailer and it will arrive today just in time for their wedding anniversary. Congratulations and Happy Anniversary.

~Jeep Factory order got delivered yesterday as well...~Jason F. of Chantilly, Virginia factory ordered a new 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon from me and it arrived yesterday afternoon so we made a 9 am appt today.
I had him in and out with 30 minutes! His whole family has bought many vehicles from me and they are just terrific people.

~Starting to ship out...

~The Frank Class Corvette barn find and throwback section. Please post up on which picture is your favorite.

Look in background...

This is how we used to write out all the orders!!

And my new tags finally came in...I had the same tag on my 2014,15 and 16 Corvette.

Drive safely!

This was my favorite at first, because I haven't seen a blade silver with the body colored intakes and no spoiler... I like the line of it.

But then I saw this... 'nuff said

The Kodak moment with the Instamatic is so funny looking at the expression on the gal standing (in the first pic).

But the one taking the pic was a little negligent on where she put her purse. Now the www knows her sin.

The Sterling Silver stripes on the Blade Silver body is subtle but sharp.

Must get pretty hot in there. Wouldn't want that double bubble top in SW Florida.

Great pics, Mike.

Really like the silver stripes on the silver C8. Subtle. Classy. Nice.

Thanks Mike for another week of great stories and photos.

Congrats. to all the new owners, very nice looking vehicles hitting the American roads.

The new silver appears to be similar to Sebring Silver from days gone bye, at least to my eyes.

Favorite picture for me this week is below.

Thanks for another funtastic Sunday post! I'm certainly looking forward to taking delivery on location at Criswell this Tuesday. While this is our 3rd ordered Corvette with you, it's the first we've taken delivery at Criswell and I can't wait!

As for my favorite pic this week, I have to go with this beautiful SWC. I have a goal to own one like this someday...
