I have never owned a silver car but the C8 in Silver looks amazing to me. I think this is the color I want. Opinions? It shows all the body lines and looks so classy to me.

Default Just the Facts

The silver you see is not the silver you'll get. Blade Silver ends with 2020 which means your on the outside looking in. Replaced by Silver Flare and no real pictures of this color in the wild. You can see sample body panels painted the 'new' silver, but ordering one will be a leap of faith. Or exercise in patience. Our Blade Silver C7 was our first silver car and we never regretted the choice.

Looks like a Photoshop of the standard issue OEM wheels. Striking gold color.

So, I am watching a YouTube video of ‘automobile magazine’ remotely interviewing Tadge about the C8 (via zoom or some other type of video conferencing) and Tadge states/explains that the C8 he is sitting inside for the interview is a yellow C8 ( since the exterior color is not visible) and just As Tadge says he is sitting in a yellow hardtop Convertible the screen in the video cuts to the picture I posted. I have NO idea if ‘Automobile Magazine’ posted that render/photo or if supplied by Tadge. That is a screen shot taken from the YouTube video interview with Tadge.

But what a nice nice color to replace the tennis ball highlighter yellow that is currently offered. A nice (Ferrari type) golden pearl yellow.

Other than that, I have no other information or leads on where the wheels are from.

The gold images were posted by Muscle Cars & Trucks as far back as August of 2019 (with the top up):

From YES THERE IS A TWIN TURBO C8 CORVETTE COMING, BUT IT’S NOT THE Z06

Yup, been around at least a year. Love the color. They could have bounced...say Zeus Bronze for this and not missed a beat (and I don’t hate ZB). Getting into the old ‘60’s Hot Wheels colors with this.

I agree, Silver is one of the sharpest colors on the Vette and brings out the lines. The C8 is no exception. The new silver coming in the 2021 model year doesn't look substantially different than the current silver based on the pics that have been posted. Slightly darker depending on the lighting but if you like silver, it shouldn't be an issue if ordering before you see it in person.

I love Long Beach red, but it has been discontinued. When my order finally goes in, I'm thinking I'll go with a black HTC. I owned a black C-5 vert and after having it ceramic coated, it was a breeze to keep clean, and always got compliments.

I'd order a 2021 Silver Flare. Not Blade Silver. Silver from GM, is rather bland, to me.

Accelerate Yellow, is perhaps the most exciting colour available from GM on the C8!

Silver is a great choice. I've always had red Corvettes But if I was ordering a C8, silver is the most tempting non-red option.
