Placed an order for C8 GM Splash Guards from this Online Site Tuesday.
Today Email received today “these parts currently on restriction from GM unavailable for regular purchase as they are being used only for vehicles coming from the factory. Your deposit will be refunded and cancelled.”
Any suggestion where to try next?
Wildhammer Motorsports seems to have them available.
That’s where I got mine last month, smooth transaction. I too had an order cancelled by a different dealership website that initially showed them as available.
Try getting them right from the Chevy dealer parts dept. Just last week I got a Carbon Flash High-Rise Wing and a pair of the rocker extensions. Both items are on constraint so you can't get them from the factory, but they're available through the parts dept. Doesn't seem to make sense. As a bonus if you're a GM employee or retiree you get a 10% discount (at least with all the Chevy dealers I've dealt with).

I got the same initial message with a relatively quick delivery date when I placed my order with GM Parts Overstock and out of curiosity I called them afterwards. They told me the parts are not in stock and they would let me know when they get them in. My order still shows "in progress". FWIW, everyone needs to call their supplier that they placed their order with to see if the parts are actually in stock. A lot of these vendor web sites don't let people know if they're in or out of stock. As I said in a previous post the vendors I called said their expected shipment receipt was 4/30.
