I was at a local car show today that had about 6 C8s and 4 Huracans. One of the Lamborghinis was parked next to one of the C8s offering a side by side comoarison. Although I can’t speak on a performance comparison I can say the C8 looks 90% as exotic as the Lamborghini at 25% the price. Now I gotta sell the C5.
Ironically, since I've driven both, the huracan imo is the most like the c8 in terms of driver positioning and the way the weight of the car moves out of all of the cars I've driven. But, the way the car accelerates is not like a huracan at all. That may change with the z06, fwiw.
Some corvette owners really have no clue. I’m sorry but to compare the 2 at any level is just ignorant. Lmao.
I agree with you. I don't get this constant obsession with some wanting their C8s to be or look like something else. The C8 is in a similar category to these cars, but it is not those cars. Neither is a Ferrari a Lamborghini, or a Mclaren a Veyron.

if your reading comprehension was up to snuff you’d know I kept the comparison to appearance alone. Apparently purchasing a C8 doesn’t require education or intelligence.
The C8 reminds me of Mega Bloks... cheaper, not quite as well made, sometimes things don’t fit perfectly and occasionally a part might even be missing. I really enjoy my C8 but there’s no hiding the various compromises that had to be made to deliver a contender at it’s price point. That being said, it’s a wonderful car and a crazy bargain for anyone wanting to sniff the cork without buying the bottle.
We line the C8s up with Lambos, Ferraris, McLarens ,ZR1s all the time. All good cars for different reasons.
Agree 100%'
Unfortunately there are some who make the false assumption that Corvette owners are not F-car or Lamborghini owners because they can't afford them. I am perfect example of how incorrect that foolish assumption is. There are more than a few of us who can afford one of each but prefer to own Corvettes exclusively. The 992s are becoming a real possibility however.

[...talks of Lamborghini, the tractor company that started making cars, and which is now owned by lowly Volkswagen]. And have less of a racing heritage than Corvettes (Corvette Racing has numerous 24 Hours of Le Mans wins, IMSA championships, etc.).
Delusions of grandeur; Lamborghinis are no Ferraris.
