I originally was going Orange...but changed to Red Mist at the last second when GM asked for the final configuration. I have never actually seen it in person......I hope I like it. From the pics it appears to change color depending on the time of day.
Mine is a HTC with all the options including black stripes. I should have it in May. I'm stoked!

My Red Mist coupe is being built next Tuesday and I went with that color sight unseen so I hope it's as good as everybody says. Never spent this much for a car I have never seen or driven in person....

This is crazy...spending more on this car than my wife and I spent on our first house. And I have not seen these colors, or driven a C8. But I did see a couple on the highway, one at a dealer, and one at a Sam's Club parking lot (parked in the handicap zone).

@GB1099 Please share the pics when you get yours. I am planning on HTC plus black roof and nacelles. However, I am confused about the black stripes. One day I want it the other I don't. Sometimes I switch to silver stripes. Hopefully, I will decide before I get my allocation.

There is kind of the rub...I think you need saddle or black interior with the Red Mist and I did not want either of those choices...I have the limitations of 1LT trim, so would have been black only interior. The configurator does not want to combine A Red with the Mist...And then I wondered if I really wanted to be that noticed...the Red Mist is amazingly eye catching..I really like it with CFlash roof and nacelles on the Vert...

I don't own a C8, but longtime Corvette fan. I spotted a new Red Mist coupe in Naples, FL headed west on Davis Blvd. It was about 3 PM and sunny out. Just wow, that color popped and glowed like it was plugged in. Had what looked like a warm gold tone under the red giving it a candy effect. Flat out gorgeous. I saw plenty of pics and was not all that impressed, another dark red metallic. But in person on the road in sunlight it just blew me away. Seriously looked like show car paint.
Anyone on here lucky enough to own one or have one delivered, congrats! You made a fantastic choice!

At the end of the day...if I really don't like them...they can be removed easily with a heat gun.

I had Crystal Red and like mentioned above, RM in the sun is much more candy red looking. In the shade they are kinda similar but in the light they are worlds apart.

The only thing you have to be aware of with the black stripes....you don't really want to order the black roof. They will put them over the roof but it looks really strange. Either go with silver stripes or the body colored roof.
At the end of the day...if I really don't like them...they can be removed easily with a heat gun.
