Default Aerolarri Wheels

Has anyone had any experience with Aerolarri Wheels? Is this company legitimate? Are the wheels truly forged as advertised? Do you know where they are manufactured?

I just found it odd that he has had success selling his wheels based on looks alone.
Looks alone? Hell no. I would not allow just anyone to charge my card $2k+ without feeling comfortable. I've been buying online, including vehicles, for 30 years, and I'm no "sucker" as they say. I did my due diligence, as I'm sure many others did, and was confident everything was legit. I didn't just see a pretty picture, say "oooh , ahh, ohhh" and click buy now.

As far as the website goes, there may be sections that you find odd, but most of it, including the topic at hand which is Aerolarri wheels, is perfectly fine. Nothing at all "crazy" about this: https://www.aerolarri.com/forged.html And there is a lot of info too, including fitment, finishes, how the wheels are made, the shipping process, etc.etc, It's quite thorough with no red flags, and again, inquiry response is prompt and thorough and from someone who speaks English.

Honestly I'm confused by most of what you are saying here, and how he would get "dragged" on Camaro or import sites... huh?? Nothing wrong with the wheels or his website, seems like you are reaching, or just trying to stir up negativity for some reason?

Also, when you quote right after a post, please take out the pictures, so they are not posted twice in a row.

They are legit. Many happy people have them and Chet is a good dude. They are truly forged. They are made overseas as many other brands are and keep costs down. Their pricing is the best I've seen for any make/model that offers forged wheels in the 19-21" sizing. I think they take about 6 weeks to get to you or so.

I have a set on order. Have messaged with Chet, he's pretty cool. Best pricing I've ever seen on any true forged wheel. Wait times are the same as any other custom made wheel company. They will also send you pics of your wheels before they make the overseas shipping trip. After seeing the fitment, styles, and finishes available, it was an easy decision for me. I've had cast wheels and custom forged wheels in the past, there is no comparison. The weight difference alone is worth it.

Here's a link to a forum thread about these wheels.
I think they're stunning, and the price is unbelievable.
If I were to change wheels when I get my C8, these will be my choice.

I went with Vossen HF5's.

Nothing against those who bought them, but I see a lot of shilling for Aerolarri's on FB and it's just a bit oft-putting for me. I also don't like the whole "limited edition" aspect (1 of 299?> ok) that they were pushing.

For a few hundred more, I'm going with a tried and true, well-known company like Vossen. I also like their wheels better anyway. I'll probably get flamed by Aerolarri believers, but that's just my personal take.

No offense, but you went with a cast wheel. Vossen makes a great product, but the HF5 is not a forged wheel.

None taken! I still feel very strongly about their lifetime structural warranty, so I don't concern myself with the cast vs. flow-forged vs. forged argument.

Look at it from their perspective....advertising. Just the way things go these days.

Why is no one "shilling" for Vossen? No need, they have been around a LONG time.

I ALMOST, and I mean ALMOST went with Aerolarri wheels. Had a set all spec'd. Was also looking at a set of STANCE SF07's. In the end, I went with a "one off" set of the SF07's for the C8. Should be completed in around a week from now (its been 4 weeks since ordered).

Black Chrome SF07's in 19/20 oem fitment.

But, like I said, I was VERY close to getting a set of Aerolarri's. From the pics and responses from those that have purchased them, I can see no reason to not.

SRobert and Lucantis --

I'm about to order, I'm curious what style you each went with.

I chose the z06z style in UFO glaze to go with my Sliver Flare.

@fairorth i went with Threshers in 20/21 size, stealth black gloss. Will go on a white htc. Haven’t seen a real picture of the color yet, only the matte version. Aerolarri just sent me a video the other day of one of my wheels being machined. Btw I’m also in Austin.

We are like twins...
I also got the thrasher wheels with a request for a custom glazed rose gold color.
They just sent me a video of them being made and I am also a neighbor, SATX.
My setup is the 19/20 with an extended rear to 11.5. I wanted to use the original tires. The roads I drive on would kill a 20/21 setup as I need the most absorbent setup possibly. A 20/21 setup looks amazing but I don't want to take that risk.
Mine car is being built at the end of the month, hopefully.
HTC red mist. Natural dipped interior.

I am anxiously waiting the picture of them powder coated. After that it's a long wait for them to arrive.

It will be interesting to see who's get produced first.

Thanks guys!!

@srobert910 I'll look for you on the roads here in ATX! And @Lucantis perhaps down in SATX!

BTW, I run around the track at Harris Hill just south of Kyle, if either of you have any interest in learning more about H2R PM me!

that’s really cool. I’m in the forever 3000 club right now with a 7/12 tpw, so I’ll hopefully move to 3100 this Thursday. I was concerned about doing 20/21 at first but Im in the Westlake area and the roads aren’t bad here. I also had a c6 a long time ago with some forged 20/22 and never damaged a wheel, so I’ll keep my fingers crossed on this one. Let’s hope we both get our cars soon and we can maybe all have a c8 get together. I see a few of them around here but haven’t met anyone locally with a c8 yet.

sounds good, I’ll be easy to spot, probably the only c8 around with a FL plate.

I thought about the 20/21 which is super cool that Chet sells that for the exact same price, but I'm tracking my c8 a lot and I wanted a greater tire selection. There are not many options in the larger size. I have a set of the Goodyear F1 Supercar 3R coming tomorrow and you can't get them in 21.

BTW, I did a last minute switch and went with the new TeraLaunch style. It is so hard to choose, they are all so spectacular! I've had my C8 since April but don't expect to see these new wheels for a while ... it will be hard to wait!!

I went with 20/21 in the Aerollarri Thresher in black ghost glazed. Order placed on 5/10 received video from Chet. Last time we text he stated they were in the processes of being polished so should be getting shipping pics soon.

I'll play the part of the mediator between brands then, as a believer in neither brand. To even things out I'll flame both sides!

Your first post line couldn't be more right, only to lead to your second post line which couldn't be more wrong.

I see how the forum advertising blitzkrieg could lead many to a rather depressing narrowed down list such as this, but to all the future readers out there, sleep better knowing that there is a whole world of wheels out there... No need to pigeon hole yourself between a generic white label wheel with one look and many brand names, akin to all those store-branded cheaper foods on the bottom shelf, or an advertising giant with an overpriced decent product in which case one could easily get caught up in all the spinning numbers and in a state of confusion end up with a heavy set of cast wheels for the cost of a lighter set of forged wheels (I know you chose the heavy cast wheels, I mean like someone else down the road might).
