2022 Wireless Apple CarPlay
I got some info from my local dealer whom I placed a deposit down on a 2022 C8 and in the info I received, it noted that for 2022 2LT that wireless Apple CarPlay is now included. Has anyone else seen that to confirm?
Btw, signed up here also this morning to get info on the C8 as this will be my first Corvette I’ve ever owned (have had over the years every gen of Camaros as well as some Trans Ams) so I’m pretty stoked to be getting my first Corvette.

I have Apple car 2 play on my 2020. It works pretty good but I think Apple car play apps have some bugs in them. I use it mainly for Waze but its not perfect.
I still can't figure out how to make the sound of the app navigation louder to be heard over the radio better. With the top down I have the radio on louder than with the top up. None of the controls on the screen control the app sound level that I've found.

I have wireless apple car play on my 2021. The manual says it connects via bluetooth, but it doe not on my car. It connects via wifi. I can turn bluetooth off on my phone and it still connects and supports car play via wifi. With bluetooth on and wifi off on my phone, it will establish a bluetooth connection but will not support apple car play - the icon is dimmed on the car screen - and when pushed, the car screen tells me I need to connect to the wifi. As far as functionality, I have used wireless car play with Maps and Waze. Seems to work fine so far. It also works fine when directly connected - I have tested that - but I dont normally use it that way.

‘21 MY come with wireless CarPlay and android auto. I have a ‘21 and I had it for 3mo now, drive it every day. Has worked flawlessly (wireless) regardless where my phone is. Center console, pocket, or wireless charger on the waterfall. 0 issues

But you never have to touch your phone. Just get in the car and in seconds apple car play starts to work.
