I believe that the question was an honest one and not meant to insult or demean. I too wondered the same thing about the buttons when I first saw the pictures I didn't realize that the 3rd pic was of the Ferrari and the first 2 where of you new wheel in which the buttons do line up. I find the look of your wheel very nice and a definite upgrade.

Is this for real? Do the buttons and **** do anything?

Are you going to put Ferrari badges on the outside, too?

C8 steering wheel design is such a fail for where your hands should be. That Ferrari wheel is great. I prefer red over blue, though. And the new Ferrari wheels with all the digital displays... Not a big fan.

I agree it seemed like a fair question, as the OP wasn't too clear. I think the first two pictures are of the C8 wheel (very nice btw!) and the picture on the far right is an actual Ferrari wheel that was used as the design inspiration.

I typically do not like aftermarket steering wheels but I like the look of this one.

I agree, I think both the OP and person asking the question confused each other. It took me a second to decode the image sequence myself.

I appreciate the desire to not argue and I too don't wish to trouble forum members on issues that don't really matter. I also see your point that the way the response is posed appears condescending. I was just mentioning that it was an easy mistake from the reader upon first glance and hoping that we could treat each other better since we all share a similar interest and we all get enough of the stuff the outside world gives us all the time.

Damn, that Ferrari steering wheel (3rd pic) is AMAZING. Personally I like the C8 steering wheel, but it obviously can't compare to that work of art. Totally different price points. Anyhow, your version of it, is really nice.

Price point difference was not very much, but it was worth it to me. I still have to order the airbag cover. I think it's going to look great.

No, I meant the price point of a Ferrari compared to a C8. You can afford to put steering wheels like that in the car if you charge Ferrari prices. Corvette is all about bang for the buck. Anyhow, yes, I agree your Ferrari-inspired steering wheel will look great in the C8. Nice job!

I do really like the wheel. I can do without the carbon fiber, I just like the leather/padding. If the price is not ridiculous as some are.;
