I put a deposit down for a C8 in April 2020, told i would get a 2021 by February. That did not happen. In March l was 2021 told I would get a 2022 by November. Thats not happening. Yesterday I went in and asked the status of my car. Dealer told me all C8 orders are on hold, it seems that GM is sending most of the vehicles to Europe now because GM is making a 40% increase in profit over in Europe above the US market. An American Company giving Europe priority over the US market for the greenbacks.
All Corvette forums need to be flooded with this info. GM needs to honor their commitments to the American people.
eBay is for bidding and prices run up sharply in the last hour and minutes. I found a couple at ~70k but I’m certain they’ll sell over 80 no problem. The sky isn’t falling. Relax.

I have been offered 25k over sticker for my C8 and 30k for my GT4. Sold my TTS for 30k more than the dealer offered me and almost what I paid for it 2 years ago. I seriously consider selling them but when I start thinking about what I will buy everything is 30-40% higher than normal and good luck finding a new C8 or GT4 from a dealer without a year or more wait. So for me I am staying pat with my cars and enjoy them and save up until this bubble bursts and good deals start showing up.
If people truly understand how the C8 allocation and order process work, and how far behind the factory still is, there will be no prices dropping anytime soon. The factory won't be caught up to normal until who knows? 2023? Normal means the big dealers are starting to carry significant stock in their showroom. Until then there will be no prices dropping like a rock. Anyone who thinks that is disillusion. The MacMulkin 2022 C8 Stingray wait list has doubled since I sent a deposit last April. The 2022 models won't start being built until September? C'mon man!

Why do you want Corvette forums to be flooded with bad info? Find a different dealer. Several reports of ‘22 orders going to 3000 status already.
I've got deposits at Ciocca and MacMulkin for a 2022, but I also have a 2021 ordered at Rick Hendrick Duluth, GA that is at 3000 status with a 8/30 TPW that Shane at the the Museum confirmed yesterday. I was thinking about ordering a 2022 from one of the big two and flipping it until I took a look at eBay Motors last week. There were over 60 C8s on there. Very few of them were getting bids and none of them looked to be getting close to the seller's asking price. I'm only hanging onto my places in line with the other two dealers in case something happens at RHD - and I don't expect that to happen.

Maybe you could expand on your thoughts as to what exactly GM owes the American public. I agree the whole premise is ridiculous as has been stated.

1LT’s were selling for over $90k a month ago, now they are going for $85k at most. Facts.

exactly. Most on eBay have such high starting bids or high reserves, they rarely sell.
I watch all sorts of cars and Motorcycles on e-bay - and I scroll down the left side and after looking at the "listed" ones, I
click on "Completed Listings"
