C8 14 speaker audio system?

So I'm new to this forum, just took delivery of my 2024 E-Ray, which is a 3LT that came with the 14 Speaker Bose System and I just wanted to join the discussion about the audio system. I'm an avid audiophile...a nut in fact. I have as much invested in my home stereo system as my E-Ray (it's been a lifelong passion that I've slowly upgraded gear over the years - Wilson Audio + Audio Research + dCS).
As my baseline/comparison, I have a 2022 Acura MDX Type S Advance (the stereo system in that vehicle is incredibly good...probably the best sound I've ever heard in a manufacturer's audio system), and a 2023 Porsche 911 with a Burmester system in it (which is not as good as the Acura's). Here's what I'd rate all of those on a scale of 1-10:
2022 Acura MDX Type S Advance - 9
2023 Porsche 911 Burmester - 8
2024 Corvette E-Ray - 3
I was very disappointed when I got the E-Ray home and enabled Apple Carplay and played back lossless audio over Tidal. I suppose it's possible that somewhere in the settings there's something I have not configured that is impacting this, but there aren't that many settings TBH. so I doubt that. And I really don't relish the idea of messing with a factory audio system, but I love the E-Ray so I may just do it. .I didn't buy it for the stereo, but for all the hype in the literature I expected more.

It’s good, but not great… and the software issues are still not resolved w/the development of the MMI interface on ‘24s. They used the '\' instead of '/' to parse the directory information. Supposedly it’s going to be corrected in the next release of the MMI.
I used Apple iTunes to rip CDs, then transfer the files to a USB, which works perfectly in my Jeeps and Ram, and previously C7, but not in my ‘24 C8. The artists and albums work fine, but the songs play out of order on the albums. Not the end of the world, but annoying when, as an example, Van Halen’s Eruption plays after You Really Got Me.
