2022 C8 PDR/Valet Mode

2022 C8 PDR/Valet Mode
Just got my C8 this weekend and have a ? Re PDR. I have it set to go on every time my car is started for when I let my family drive the car and in the future when I bring the car in for service. My C7 had valet mode where you would enter a code to engage it and it would lock glove box, not allow radio to work and let person know valet mode was in affect. Am I right to assume C8 DOES NOT have valet mode and that you can only have PDR to go on with settings? I looked online and in manual and couldn’t get clarification.

There is a Valet mode in the C8 as well. Go into the Infotainment and then you should see Valet Mode, it will do the same ask for PIN and then lock the glove boxes and center console and turn the PDR on. You may need to go into the PDR first to allow it to record in Valet Mode, it may be off.

I was thinking about the Valet mode earlier and it would be nice if it limited the car to 10 or 15 MPH so you know the person can only park and not play with the car. Yes I realize it logs the performance during valet mode but what are you going to do After the fact and the person will just deny it. Better to just make it not happen.
